The WORST kayak rental experience. I made a reservation for a kayak rental for 4pm and called ahead to confirm before I drove 30 minutes. I arrived 5 minutes late and was told they were closing in an hour and could no longer rent the kayak. The man was rude and walked away saying nothing. DO NOT COME HERE. Overall, we had a great experience. We were able to take our coupe for a drive up the 1a1 up to palm beach. It's a beautiful drive and we had amazing weather. Took 1 star off because the guy at the shop was very strange. We paid for our reservation with Amex online, but when we got into the shop, he wouldn't accept Amex for the deposit. Luckily we had another card. He gave is virtually no information...no map, where to go, sites to see. After asking, he told us to stay on the 1a1 and we figured it out from there. You have to buy the additional insurance which is like $15. Online it says it covers $500 but in person he told us $300. We booked for a full day and asked if we could change it to a half day and he just pointed at a sign that says 'no refunds'. Overall, I would recommend it. They would probably do more business if they improved their customer service.…
