We were only there for 3 days and it was a good thing. It is a really nice and quiet place and we loved parking there. Our site at Bennett Field was huge! We could hardly notice other campers. Thank goodness for having an RV,...More

Wonderful hideaway in plain sight. Driving on several highways in the area you probably have driven through the forest. Next time take a stop and enjoy one of several trails, see the florida in it's natural state.

I've been through this forest a thousand times going to the beach and never knew it was here. Recently I rescued a new puppy who loves to hike so I've been scouting parks. Tiger Bay sounded familiar when I looked it up and I felt...More

Most local residents are completely unaware that they have thousands of acres of publicly accessible wilderness at their back door. This is one of my favorite places to go when I want to get away from everything. There's a nice recreation area on Indian Lake...More

Just off the highway this is a lovely peaceful green space. There is 1.75 mile well signposted nature trail which took less than 1 hour to walk round. There is a lake on which you can fish. It is a nice place to while away...More

Went to Tiger Bay State Forest to get away from the tourist atmosphere of Daytona Beach. Unfortunately, not much visitor info about the forest. I did take the only nature walk available while my wife stayed near Indian Lake. The trail was easy but not...More

Set right off the International Speedway road that runs from Daytona Beach to Deland, this is a nicely preserved forest. There are a few trails for hiking or walking but mostly just trees. With meager attention by the rangers to mapping the trails or providing...More
