Nice for a beach day

There is a free parking area close to the beach. Also a small playground and resting area is available with public toilets and showers as well.

The beach parks in the Daytona Beach/Ormond Beach areas are great. They provide free parking as well as showers and bathrooms. Frank Rendon Park is one of the many we have used over the years. Ormond by the Sea area is a quiet beach area.

This park is well maintained and the facilities are kept clean. Not a lot of loitering here. We walk up to the park daily from our beach walk. We stretch here and head home for a 6 mile loop.

Right next to the beach. Park ,let the kids play in the water jets while you set up the picnic lunch.then get on the beach for a bit, play in the surf, then back to the park to wash off the sand in the water jets and change in the very nice changing rooms.

Wow, 1,000,000 gulls! Not an exaggeration - the Gull Fly-in field trip from the Space Coast Birding Festival observed this specatacle that happens every winter and always features at least well over 100,000 gulls of several species each evening before dusk when the gulls go to roost on the ocean. This park is a great access point for viewing the... More

I have been bringing my kids here for years. Where else can they have a playground next to the beach, with beach access, bathrooms and showers? It is well designed.

Small park that overlooks the beach. Pavillion, grills, restrooms, outdoor showers and small playscape.

And, a picnic lunch with the little ones is fun. A grill available for a surprise treat for the children. I love the play area it is a safe structure for them to play and socialize.

It is located directly on the beach and the shade is wonderful on a sunny day. It is a park for the kids to play and grills to cook food on. Nice family spot.

After buying lunch at a restaurant, we decided to eat at this park. The area is covered and has picnic-styles tables. You can see the beach and ocean as you eat. It turned out to be a nice spot, and wasn't too hot even though it was in the middle of the day.
