A very well restored historical home. Very interesting place and very good tour guide. He had much interesting information on the early days of Florida. Would definitely recommend this house if you are interested in history.

This is a beautiful Victorian home that's been restored right on the Intracoastal Waterway. The tour is interesting with lots of rare artifacts from the area. The grounds are well cared for and it was a nice to see the history of the area preserved....More

Interesting stroll thru late 19th and early 20th century artifacts housed in a beautiful old home. Plenty of time to enjoy the ambience. Plan your day for for 2 hrs max. Guides are dedicated to preservation of the homestead and are knowledgeable and friendly.

It's an excellent reminder of days gone by. The house is gorgeous and definitely worth a trip. They have an afternoon tea on some Tuesdays that is well worth the trip!

We called and made the reservations, we had a large group of 10 so we made in a few weeks ahead of time. You may want to ask for a table close to the french doors.. the view of the river is fantastic. :)

At the "Tea" you are served different course of variety of edible delights.
