This place could use a facelift. The fairways and rough could use a little TLC. Greens are small (not a knock on the joint, just informational). We played the South course and it was just OK. we paid $35 a head, which is all this place is worth---do not pay more. Played in 4 hrs---thats a plus.

Today my wife and I visited Pelican Bay Golf Course. We began play and could not believe the poor conditions of the tees, fairways and greens! Traps were groomed but contained little or no sand... obviously course maintenance staff did not expect you to rake the traps as no rakes were provided. We played along and quickly caught up to... Played the south course today and found it tricky at times due to unfamiliarity and course conditions. Some of the trickiness came from pin placements 6 to 8 feet from the fringe at a few locations. The greens keeper had a bad night last night because the pins were on downhill slope near the edge. Several bare spots on a few... More

Our foursome wasted an enormous among of time searching the rough for balls that were a only few feet from the fairway (or the green) but had disappeared into grass that was at least 5 inches deep. It's hard to imagine why they would create such punishing conditions, whether it's to save money or to think of themselves as creating... More

Played Pelican Bay North Course this past weekend. Had a great time out there! It was very affordable and a little slow (probably due to the heat). No wait for our tee time and played in just under 4 hours. No pace issues at all. The only negative was that the outer parts of the greens were getting pretty dry... More

Really cheap place to play. I played as a single on Mother's Day. It was not busy. The greens were pretty sad shape. More sand than grass. Cool little layout though.

Had a $17 coupon to play the South course, which was about all it was worth. Fairways not mowed, roughs nearly intoleranable, and the greens almost unputtable. Save your money.

We played this course because of it's location and based on a referral. The actual layout was okay but I must say the conditions were terrible. Only about 12 of the greens were in half decent shape, the sand bunkers were not raked or maintained and the fairways were not in good shape, apparently due rain. Would not return, period.

Nice challenging course in above average condition. Water hazards on just about every hole. I have played it over 50 times and never grow tired of it.
