John was our incredibly knowledgeable tour guide of this historic house. The tour was $5 per person and lasted about 2 hours. We learned so much about the history of Daytona, specifically in the Victorian age. Everything in the house has been donated and is specific to the time period. We went back to the gift shop after the tour to look around, but unfortunately the volunteer had left. We intend to go back to one of the monthly afternoon teas at Hotchkiss House, which is another historic house next door to Lilian Place. If you are at all interested in history, do NOT miss a visit to this historical house and its beautiful grounds.

There is major bridge construction where the actual entrance is, so it is hard to find. We parked and walked to look for it. it was definitely worth the extra effort!

Happened across Lilian Heritage by chance. The driveway a little confusing, worth the effort to see such a grand ole house and hear the story behind it. It states that it is the Oldest Grand house on the Beach side. Lots of History and the gentlemen that showed us around was very informative. There is a little souvenir, more of a craft shop to the right of the house and this is where we purchased our tickets.

After getting sunburned on the beach our first day in Daytona, we were looking for activities to do in the area where we could be indoors on our second day. We found this historic home tour listed in the area guide. As the only participants on the tour, I loved that our guide customized our tour to our interests....mainly, the ghosts! My family really enjoyed hearing the ghost stories and sightings associated with this home. We had a great time visiting Lilian Place!

I enjoyed the food, presentation on Mary McCleod Bethune and the patrons who attended. It is my fourth event there and the accommodations and location is perfect for meetings, weddings and events.
