My daughter is a month away from delivering her first child. She wanted to find a lazy river to float in. She lives in St. Augustine and we live in Melbourne. Nice halfway point to meet. We went to this water park about 6 years ago. The Florida resident prices are reasonable. We only used the lazy river and the wave pool. I was impressed with how well staffed they were with lifeguards. In fact , at one point a lifeguard blew her whistle and without hesitation jumped into the lazy river to help an adult who seemed to not know how to swim and came out of his tube. He was struggling against the movement of the water to stand. Well done . The only thing I didn’t like was that empty tubes were floating in the lazy river instead of sitting near the numerical entrances. The bathrooms by the pool area smelled of mildew. Otherwise we had a good time.

Family trip to the splash park. I purchased the all you can do tickets which allowed us to ride the carts and use the splash park. My family liked the open rides more than those that were completely covered and placed you in the dark. Good value for the money

We are visiting FL from OH. Yesterday we took our 3 kids (age 6) to the Daytona Lagoon. I was hesitant to go after reading several poor reviews here, but we loved it! We stopped by the Lagoon earlier in the day to find out if our kids were tall enough to be able to enjoy all of the slides and attractions. We found out that kids 42" and up can go on all the slides, etc. Great news for our kids! Anyways we found out something even better, that each day starting at 4pm, you can purchase an admission for only $11.99 each which is good from 4pm til close. I would not recommend this on a Sunday because they close at 7pm. However we were there on a Sat night and so they were open until I believe 11pm. $12 each from 4-11pm is a great deal in my opinion! We took along several coupons that we had found in free Daytona beach mags in our hotel lobby, however we were told we couldn't use any of those (they were apparently only good on the full price/general/all day admission).
You have to walk through their huge arcade in order to purchase tickets and to get out to the waterpark area. We were not interested in any of the dry attractions such as the arcade, mini golf or go karts. We have Chuck E Cheese at home in OH so we told our kids in advance we would not be playing any arcade games at the Lagoon!
Also, when you purchase your admission tickets, be sure to asking about the parking discount. We parked in the parking garage right next door which can be rather costly however the Lagoon sold a parking pass for the entire evening for only $4. (We had to ask about i!).
Once entering the waterpark, they search all your bags. I asked what they were looking for and they said "outside food and drink, outside alcohol, and weapons". We had brought only towels and sunblock in our bag so we had no problem. I believe they will confiscate (or make you return it to the car??) if you bring in any food or drink. No coolers allowed either. Not a big deal for us as we had just eaten a huge lunch and were there to swim/play.
You can rent a locker. We did not as we had only brought the bare minimum in with us and nothng of value. I am not sure how much the locker rentals are.
There are plenty of lounge chairs including many areas in the shade (located under walkways, etc). We easily found 5 in a row on which to put our towels.
We enjoyed the lazy river, the large wave pool, the kids' "tree house" type play area. and all of the various slides. They have a lot of lifeguards there so I felt my kids were quite safe. All of the staff seemed attentive and we had no problems.
We purchased Dippin Dots ice cream for the kids. It was a bit pricey at $4 for a small dish and $5 for a larger dish. That was the only thing we purchased at the Lagoon.
We stayed until about 9pm and though the park was quite crowded when we entered at 4pm it was not at all crowded as the evening went on. By 9pm it was nearly empty. We then headed through the Ocean Walk Shoppes to the beach area. There was a Sinatra type singer performing in the bandshell and we caught the end of that as well as the free fireworks display they have on the beach every Sat night during the summer at 9:45pm.

Viewed the website and made our plans to go on Wednesday, May 22nd. Drove 45 minutes to go to the fun park and arcade with my 2 kids and their grandma. We parked in the garage that was stated and traffic was heavy, parking was $15 for event parking and I ask the attendant to make sure that the garage was also for the Daytona Lagoon. She stated that it was so I paid the $15 to park, after making our way to the top of the garage about 8 minutes later we walk down. There is no signage in the garage stating which exit to use so we ended up on the wrong end and having to walk through the bus garage. We make it around and walk up to enter and there are hand written signs on the doors "servers are down - closed". I had just been on the website before we left and there was no notice or warning that the facility was closed so we had to make the trek back up the parking garage to leave. Contacted the parking garage and they don't refund due to businesses being closed. Very disappointing trip that could have been avoided if it had been noted on the website.

I was disappointed. We got there just as they opened and our cabana, which we paid extra for, was dirty as if they didn't clean it the night before. The bathrooms looked like they hadn't been cleaned in quite a while. The dining area by the snack bar Inside was filthy.
Only one slide was open at a time. The lazy river was closed the entire time we were there. We rode go carts once and then it was closed the rest of the day. The one time we did ride no one checked to make sure our seat belts were even fastened let alone secure.
All of the staff members acted like they hated their jobs. I tried extra to say thank you and smile to try to brighten their day. But no one would say you're welcome or even smile back.
The food was typical snack bar food. Nothing spectacular but edible.

Beware!! Do NOT waste your money!!! My husband and our 6 kids were vacationing in Daytona Beach. We thought it would be fun to go to the water park. They charged my 8 year old as an adult because he was right at 48 inches. They charged us full price (almost $300) when 3 out of of the 7 attractions were NOT working. The grounds were dirty and they did not have enough staff to run the few attractions that were open. At the top of a set of slides, they had 1 attendant who was laying down on a raft and pointing at the slides. They had lots of camps with younger children and not enough supervision. You had to wait for rafts for the few attractions that were open before you could wait in line for the slides. The concession stand was out of everything but pizza and fountain soda. My husband waited 40 minutes to get a drink. The grounds were dirty and the staff did not keep up with the trash. This is the grossest "water park" I have ever been to!! Do NOT go!! Save your money and hang out at your hotel pool.

We wanted to bring our 3 y.o. granddaughter to the water park, and celebrate her mom's birthday. Daytona Lagoon was close and we had been there yrs ago, so were up for it. We really looked forward to the BOGO wkday special, but we still dropped 92 bucks for 4 adults and one child. I entered the bathroom to change upon arriving @ 11am and there is no toilet tissue in either holder of the stall, no hand soap or paper towels. I informed an associate of the issue and went on my way. The park itself is run down and severely dated. Many of the squirters and fountains were not functional, the water level in the lazy river( not sure that's the name here, but you get the general idea) is too low. I went back to the bathroom to change before leaving and there was one dispenser that had soap, no paper towels, and no toilet paper in at least 4 stalls. I again went to an associate and requested a manager, the associate relayed that she would inform her manager. It was not busy at all yesterday, Aug 11, 2020 and clearly no excuse for the supply shortage, especially with Covid-19 amongst us! The structural appearance of the parking garage was poor at best. If I would have seen the cracks in the expansion joints before my arrival, we would not have wasted our time. Thank goodness we didn't pay full price for our admission, however that does not excuse the poor maintenance and clear safety issues. I completely understand that the world we live in these days is different, however whoever runs this business can do much better. We will not be back.

So, I sent Daytona Lagoon a private message and then they went dark.
Back on 2/28/2020 I purchased the All day Play pass for my family. I have the messages back and forth that said 3/1/2020 was the last day to purchase. So, I paid the $100 for my family. Just a few days later, COVID shut everything down. I kept in touch for months afterward. But the facility was closed and I was told to keep checking back. Finally, I reached out again today and was told that the passes EXPIRED in February of 2020. I asked why you sold me expired passes and you read the message and then completely ghosted me. Do you really need my family’s $100 that bad that you would screw us out of the money knowing you were selling us an expired pass? That is some shady stuff.... good to know. First they said the passes expired in Feb 2020. Then I showed proof of my purchase. Then, the said it could be bought through Feb 2020. Of all the times I reached out, this was the only time they gave an expiration date.... conveniently 6 months past. Fine for a day trip. But buyer beware if you try and purchase family passes for the season. My family of 5 will never go back.

It was a limited service day and our tickets reflected that. It was “Pool Daze”. Ok. But then, the wave pool made no waves, the grill had no cheese for the loaded nachos and no ice cream. Small things I suppose but even with limited service discount it still cost almost $75 to get the family into the park. It seems reasonable to expect things to work and food vendors to be properly stocked.

7 year old grandson, Dad and 2 Grandparents spent 5 hours here and had a really good time! 1 adult just got Waterpark admission and enjoyed water slides and sunning for $42. We got a half cabana for 2 people for $40 and were able to pull up another lounger to hang together. Child and 2 adults got all inclusive passestjat allowed is to go on multiple rides and activities for ~$52 each. And it was a good value. We rode things several times including go carts, bumper cars (more fun than it looked and actually can bump pretty hard), putt putt golf, laser tag and drop ride. 7 year old was fearful of elevated rope walk but looked like funa dn challenging. Would definitely go again. Definitely cheaper than Discovery Cove and other Orlando Waterpark and interactive parks.

Is it walkable from Hilton Daytona Hotel? And also I have gluten allergy, can I bring gluten free snacks or are there gluten free snacks available for purchase?
Written July 18, 2020
We are located across from the Hilton. We do have a few Gluten free items, but we are not a gluten free kitchen. For medical reason you are able to bring in a small amount of food for the individual. You are also able to come and go as long as you keep your wristbands on, there is a great little pace next door called Health Tree, they do have Gluten Free options. Hope this helps....

I’m looking at the wet calendar. What does the blue legend of limited operations mean?
Written April 13, 2019
i think for $15.99 you float in the wave pool and one slide will open every hour ( a different one every hour)

I went to print my Christmas in July tickets and there is only one to print. But price is $84 on it. Do i have to print 7 of that same ticket or do all 7 of us have to go at the same time?
Written August 10, 2018
No, just bring in the printed ticket, we will be able to put any unused tickets in will call for the next person visiting.
Written August 26, 2018
Sorry, the Go Karts are out side so they do have to close for rain because the track gets slippery. After the rain stops we do have to dry the track before the go karts reopen. We do have attractions inside like: Laser Tag, Ropes Course, Rock Wall and the arcade that will stay open during the rain.
