What's not to enjoy the history is abundant and will keep you captivated for hours. The grounds are beautiful and the staff are very knowledgeable. And when you go to the top of the Lighthouse the view is panoramic and breathtaking.

wonderful place to visit. Lots of history. It is a long way up the stairs for the lighthouse but worth every step once you see that view.

Although you don't have to climb the lighthouse you will miss a spectacular view of the area beaches, inlet and boating. Great displays of the older lens, equipment and workers buildings that kept the lighthouse operational. Good for children also.

This is a fun & interesting place to go to. You can climb to the top of the Lighthouse and lQQk out, and learn a lot about life a hundred years ago. The Gift Shop has many unusual and charming items. The exhibits and buildings are very low tech and that makes it more enjoyable, and more realistic. We take... More

While in Daytona Beach, I visited the Ponce de Leon Lighthouse for the 3rd time...and we climbed it for the 3rd time...and for the 3rd time the experience was wonderful. The staff was wonderful, the lighthouse is well maintained, and the grounds are impeccible. There are many museums on the property. Take the time to check all of them out.

This is a wonderful stop -- especially if you like lighthouses. The grounds are beautiful with many historical buildings and exhibits to view. The lighthouse itself is the tallest in Florida lighthouse and the hike to the top is well worth it (203 steps). The only downside is that - like many lighthouses - it is not on the beaten... More

This was fun to visit. We climbed to the top of the lighthouse where it was very windy. A storm blew in as soon as we got to the top so we had to get down quickly as they had to shut down the light house until it passed. Very interesting exhibits for all. Worth the small admission price too.
