This is an amazing place! There are various hands on exhibit areas geared to kids of different ages. The areas are inspired by historical and contemporary artists from Florida and around the world. There are various volunteers at specific stations to help with more complex art making processes for example the printmaking station. The museum and public library are fused... More

I have read some mixed reviews about what this place offers kids and what it does not. I found this place can be amazing if you take advantage of what it has to offer. They like to say that the possibilities here are as endless as your imagination. They have exhibits, offer classes and camps, field trips, classroom outreach, workshops,... More

We went with our 2 1/2 year old granddaughter and were very impressed. Although they feature Art Exhibits, there are quite a few interactive displays and things for the younger children to play with. Places to draw, a huge sand box, a play kitchen and plastic food and even a stage where they can play and be marionettes with their... More

I brought my grandchildren to a birthday party at YAA and was so impressed that I bought a family membership. There is so much to do that we go at least twice a week and the kids find something new each time. Children can experiment with different art medium or learn about stomp dancing as well as making puppets from... More

We live in the area and this is a go-to for our family! Kids love all of the interactive exhibits and everyone always has fun. The little cafe has great food too!

At $14 per person, you would expect to be entertained more than maybe an hour. My kids aged 2 - 10 were mostly bored with the whole place. Honestly there isn't much to do. There is a room for the little little ones to play in, but then the others are left to fend for themselves? Draw a picture? We... More

Must place for locals and tourists with kids. We took a group of kids ages 4 - 14, including one 9 year old from Haiti. They all had a good time. There are very simple things for the younger kids, and our little ones would have stayed in one room for hours, but there were many more rooms and experiences.... More

I have a 3 and 4.5 year old, they loved the Art Museum! It has a 5 and younger area where children can play with all sorts of play stations, including a water station, out door play area, etc. The rest of the museum is for all ages - there are movie stations, passports and stamps, drum room, etc. About... If you are a child, have a child, need something to do with a child or just want to see the world like a child - go to Young At Art. The new museum is very large, has art inside and out, and will leave your imagination enthralled. There are many beautiful themed rooms. See them all, take at least... More
