Lovely park to enjoy with family or friends.

Look for the pavilions located in several places to shelter from the scorching sun. Do not be dissapointed if you find lots of seaweed on the beach....it´s turtle time!!! and they... read more

My wife and I have lived in South Florida for 18 years and hadn't experienced the park. We were out for a drive on Saturday and decided to venture into the park, what a pleasant surprise. The park is quite rustic and simple. Lots of boaters were launching into the inter coastal or accessing the ocean from the park. Plenty... More

No frills here. Just a beautiful rustic beach with white sand. My family loves coming here. There are no restaurants here so we always pack for for a picnic. The have many park tables to sit at and bathroom facilities. After we eat, we take a stroll along this amazing preserved beach. The water is usually clear and stunning. To... More

We first stopped at Dania Beach, which had parking that was paid by the hour. We planned on staying all day, so we opted to head to John U. Lloyd Beach Park and pay $6/car load. Parking was plentiful when we showed up on a Sun. afternoon. The park space was a bit crowded with families cooking out, but didn't... More

Look for the pavilions located in several places to shelter from the scorching sun. Do not be dissapointed if you find lots of seaweed on the beach....it´s turtle time!!! and they take good care of the little ones that will soon be born. So seaweed cannot be removed! If you go on Saturdays or Sundays about 4:00PM you will be... More

This was a lovely little beach! Nice sand, good views, and very accessible. The water was warm! We did some shore snorkeling - not much to see but for a practice beach, I highly recommend it. Not a lot of wave action and shallow slope, so great for beginners, families, etc.
