We had a reserved pavillion for our family gathering but apparently someone forgot to mow the lawn around the area. Otherwise everything else was descent.

family with teens, looking for a beach to enjoy the water and not be crowded. It was just what we were looking for! Pleasantly surprised with the "creek" area just over the dunes that also had a restaurant/bar with patio. Had a great experience. Unfortunately...More

Beautiful location, however disappointing due to the amount of trash along the shores since there is an entrance fee and it is a "state park" we expected a cleaner experience. Even the restrooms and showering area's are not maintained in the area of cleanliness.

I have been coming to this beach and park for the past 40 years. Over the years it went from an undeveloped stretch of land to segregatedBeach for Negros. It's finally morphed into a state park which is shown continued improvement. They took out all...More

Lots of picnic tables, grill areas. Whisky Creek is awesome. You can park your boat, rent kayaks or paddle boards, grab a bit to eat right on the beach.

I have visited the now called Dr. Von Mizzell-Eula Johnson State Park several times during the years. In the morning there is not a lot of people but comes 11:00am the place is really crowed. If you go during a Holiday weekend be there early...More

We visited while in the area, the beach has had considerable erosion and was covered in grass and trash. The only nice thing about the park is the pavilions which were good to sit and eat lunch.

This state park is located in the Dania Beach area and can get quite busy on weekends. It has a beautiful stretch of beach but for me the nicest component of this park is the jetty walk on the north side of the park. It's...More

There are no lifeguards and the waters can be rough. The greatest thing about this beach is it is right next to the pier - a great stroll atop the ocean and better yet, the restaurant has views in every direction and from every seat....More

We were here on a beautiful, sunny, Friday morning. We practically had the park you ourselves. The entrance fee was well worth it. The beach was clean and deserted. We found some shells, walked the beach and waded in the ocean. We also walked the...More

Hi sorry for the delay ... Really too far , a bike is quite a ride , I'd suggest a car rental - keep luggage in the trunk - and ther will be a parking fee ( not sure how much ) ... But if it's a real secluded beach your... More

When we entered by car, didn't notice anything at the toll booth which prohibited food or water. I'd say there's no problem, as long as people properly dispose of any trash. Enjoy a great day at the park!
