The state park is great. It is the northern most beach in Dania and offers huge amount of parking as well as a boat ramp and several other amenities like Whiskey creek snack bar and paddleboard and kayak rentals.

We love walking along the canals and out to the ocean. We admire birds and other wildlife, and the occasional human. Once in a while we rent kayaks and get a closer view. Since we must listen to them flying over, we even perversely enjoy...More

Beautiful park, beautiful beach. Restrooms, bar, picnic tables, BBQs etc... Best thing is the entry cost, far better than having to wait and pay for parking at the major beaches. The only reason I did not rate it a 5 was due to the amount of...More

When we entered by car, didn't notice anything at the toll booth which prohibited food or water. I'd say there's no problem, as long as people properly dispose of any trash. Enjoy a great day at the park!
