We went with a group of 9 people. The safari vehicle holds about 30 people. The tour through the working farm included a thorough explanation of all the animals on site. Their habits and histories as well as their native habitats. Lex and his wife Elena live on site, work the farm and run the tours. This would be a... More

The value of some things cannot be measured in mere money spent....Giraffe Ranch is one of them. To celebrate my 76th birthday I took 10 family members (ranging in age from 10 to 79) 'on safari' to Giraffe Ranch and every one of us enjoyed it. Our group of 10 got our own safari vehicle and guide which greatly enhanced... More

My wife and I took the llama tour of the Giraffe Ranch. We were actually able to walk amongst the animals, with no barriers separating us. We saw zebra, bongo, ostrich, giraffe, and many others. We also had the opportunity to feed the giraffes. This is a must see if you are in the Orlando area. It is about an... More

The entire experience was great. We chose one of the extras - feeding the lemurs - so much fun. They were very attentive, but they didn't swarm and overwhelm our group. We headed out on our camel safari afterwards - amazing! Since it was spring, we were able to see several baby animals. I highly recommend it!

My husband and I visited Giraffe Ranch last week and had an absolutely wonderful time. One of the owners, Elena, spoke with me over the phone two days before our visit and helped my husband and I decide which safari option would be best for us (the options: vehicle safari, llama trek, camel safari, Segway safari). All of the options... More

We thought it would not be as good as "Disney" or something like that but turns out we like Giraffe Ranch more. Our guide (owners) were awesome and the tour was fantastic. Pick and animal to feed, it costs more but makes the experience even better. We fed the lemurs.

The owners, who also have their masters in biology are very knowledgeable. The information they shared was extremely insightful. I would recommend this to anyone.

Their website says that reservations are mandatory and must be made by phone. They can also only be reached by phone for 1 hour every day, between 8:30am-9:30am or something which is not reasonable. I called them yesterday during those hours and there was no answer so I filled out the email form on their website immediately, asking if they... More

Last year my wife and I took our 6 and 4- year-old granddaughters to Safari Wilderness in Lakeland, Florida. All four of us loved it. This year we added our 28-year-old son to our group and visited Giraffe Ranch, the sister property in Dade City, Florida, also featuring exotic and domestic animal species in a working ranch environment. Again we... More
