Nice flat hike with wide, well maintained trail. Suitable for all ages. Trail is meant to be done in a counter-clockwise fashion if you want to follow the narrative on the trail signs

A great trail to enjoy nature. Trail is very level and not difficult to walk/hike. A large number of native plants and quite a few birds. Take water, take your time and enjoy.

This preserve has trails through open areas as well as native trees. There are restrooms which can come in handy becasue the trails are quite long. My only caution is tha there were areas obviously dug up by wild pigs. We didn't see any but...More

We were a bit disappointed with the Eco Walk Trail when we visited in February. They seem to do minimal work to groom the trail and make it more walkable. It would probably not cause harm to the environment if they would fill in the...More

Spouse and small dog walked this 2.3 mile trail which is flat and only threatened to wet our feet in one location. A lot of palmettos, pines, live oaks and black gums complete with the hanging moss. We went in the afternoon, so only saw...More

Flat and easy, this is suitable for all ages and hiking abilities. I thought seeing so many armadillos along the path was cute... until I read that there has been a leprosy outbreak in Florida that is likely tied to spitting armadillos. Be careful out...More

This what my Floridian family has used for many years, "Skin so soft" by Avon. They have body wash, lotion and bug repellant. Works better than any of the traditional bug repellents. Use all 3 products and your golden.
