Nice walk

Nice hike but only a mile or two. Easy on foot and mostly shaded if the sun's too hot. Ends at a long boardwalk. It's a loop trail so you don't have to take same path back.

Not a very well known park. It is a nice walk thru the woods with placards describing some sights Haven't seen much wildlife, but the plants are interesting. .

Some locals told us about this place on a chilly day when we wanted to get outside but didn't want to get on the water. It's a 2 mile loop of trail through various natural terrains. It's not a challenging trail, so you can relax and let your senses discover all the bird song and other natural sounds as you... More

We hiked this 2+ mile trail on a cool sunny morning, and the experience was delightful. We saw almost no one on the trail, and the birds were abundant. The nature signs are showing a lot of wear to the point where some of them are barely legible. The signage is very elementary; it would be nice if there could... More

This area is mostly flatland which follows a 2.1 mile trail. There are numerous informational posts along the way which describe the various creatures and plants found here. There are also benches which invite you to sit, relax, and listen along the way. Bring water and bug repellant though we were not bothered by bugs when we went (01/08/2016). A... More

This is a great getaway destination. The nature is wonderful, peaceful and natural. I like to visit every year or two to get off the beaten path.

The reviews and appearance of this trail looked PERFECT----unfortunately, we were so inundated with bugs that we did not even make it 1/4 mile. We will try again when it has not rained every day for hours---but definitely avoid during rainy season if you are not acclimated to the Florida bugs

This is a short 2 mile walk. They have benches along the way and signs for the trees and vegetation which is nice. We ran into puddles and muddy areas along the way but they were manageable. About 1.75 miles into the walk we came to a huge section of the trail under deep water. We could not seen any... More

Enjoyed a tranquil walk through the woods and palms. Some of the trail was made of a wooden walkway and other parts were just ground. Make sure you put bug spray on. I did not see anything bite me, but the day after I had bites all over (chiggers maybe?) The one trail is a bit long, to an observation... More
