Captain Hank took us out and it was amazing! My mom and I are experienced divers, but the rest had never been snorkeling before. He brought us where the scallops were, and we all had a great time! Even the kids who had never even snorkled had a lot of fun! I don't know if he does this with everyone,... More

We had a great experience with Captain Jonsey in late March 2015! Although the manatees had already moved out of the clear waters and into the merky bay, he did everything possible to ensure we saw and swam with the manatees! He was worried that it might take a long time but we actually found a group of them within... More

Just had to say what a great morning we had on the Manatee tour with Captain Hank, definitely one of the highlights of our 3 weeks in florida. Captain Hank was really friendly, sharing stories, and his knowledge on Manatees as well as the local area. He provided hot chocolate for after the swim and also let the kids help... More

Captain Hank is the best manatee swim tour guide in Crystal River. Knowledgeable about all rules and restrictions. Very friendly and accommodating. We have done 3 trips with him now. Would recommend him to everyone.

I joined TripAdvisor just to say what a wonderful time our family recently had scalloping with Capt. Hank! We went out with him in 2012 and had a great time. So when we were passing through the area this summer, we called him up again last minute and he delivered! Although it was late in the scalloping season, Capt. Hank... More

First, I will start with Capt. Hank, great personality and he told some very corny jokes but that's what made the trip even more fun! He was very sociable and literally spent hours with us and to top it off he even cleaned our scallops, now Im no saying he provides this service, I beleive he felt bad since we... More

This was out first time went scalloping and we had a BLAST!!! Captain Hank is very friendly and helpful. He was very patient with our lack of experience. He help us hunt and stayed another hour late with us, so we can catch some more scallops since we started out late. We will be back and highly recommend!

Cpt. Hank took six of us out to gather scallops. My husband and I had done this before, but the other two couples had not. On the way out to the bay, Cpt. Hank shared some history of the river and the bay area. Interesting things that you wouldn't find in a history book. Once we got settled in our... More

Capt'n Hank is very knowledgeable, friendly, and provided us with a great experience. Showed us how to spot, catch, clean and even cook scallops. He Told us that he only does small parties because he wants to be able to provide a a very thorough explanation of everything.

We had 4 people in our group (2 couples). We started the day as novice first-timers and finished as experienced scallopers. The boat was clean and safe, captain Hank knowledgeable and friendly. He provided the masks, snorkels, and fins then took us to the scalloping hotspots and gave us tips on how to hunt and catch. He even provided ice... More
