Being a local I remember coming here when getting my scuba certification and the water was so murky you couldn’t see two feet in front of your face. Since the renovation and the Kings Bay restoration project the area has improved drastically. It will get...More

All day parking is $5 and hourly parking is less. Great kayak launch. Park is very clean and has restrooms on site. Very beautiful.

They renovated the beach area and made it tiny! There is no shade at tables or beach just one pavilion. Now they charge to park and there is constant tour companies dropping off people and beach gets packed and beach area is only 100x100 and...More

We are sorry you feel this way. There is a beach area where there wasn't one before. Fort Island Trail Beach is a Citrus County beach not a City of Crystal River. The City and Save Crystal River is working hard to restore the waterways.

This is a great little beach. There is a spring water entrance here which is very cold when you are above it. You can snorkel year round, and in the winter if you are lucky as we were you will get to play with matatees.

Thank you. We enjoy seeing the manatee in Hunter Springs during the winter. They are amazing creatures.

Nice clear water and sandy bottoms. Do be careful of the newly planted grasses. New swim area and kayak launch.

We were turned on to this beach by a native (we were vacationing) and made it here twice in a week. The parking price was modest and we found spaces in the shade (I drive a black car). The restrooms were clean and spacious. There...More

Although we did not spend time at this spring, we visited it by car and also by guide boat. This looks like a great way to spend an afternoon. There is a $5 charge to enter and park at this spring/park. Bring your own chairs,...More

Park Service undertook the renovation of Hunter's Springs about 1 1/2 years ago. Although the closure was an inconvenience for residents, the results were worth it! Located right within Crystal River, you can go to swim, launch your kayak or just enjoy a sunset! Lovely!!

This is a wonderful little park. There are great facilities for picnicking and grilling. There is a launch here for kayaks and paddle boards. The cheapest in the area. There is a terrific beach which is the only one in the area with white sand....More

I went to this park and there is a little beach in the park. Best part was there were 3 manatees that swam right up to me and said hello!

I paid $5 for 2 hours but they may have changed it to $5 for the entire day. Best to call the park people to find out the exact amount.
