We arrived at 1;00 for a boat tour of the river to see manatees and even though there were only two of us (some others had cancelled) we set off right on time. We did not want to snorkel and so arranged for a boat tour only. My wife has balance problems and the guys at the shop were really... More

We rented a pontoon boat for the day to go out and snorkel with the manatees. If you are comfortable driving a boat, this is a great option and is much cheaper than hiring a guide. I've done it both ways but now I've rented from Crystal Lodge Dive Center, this is going to be the only way I go.

We booked a tour at 8:00 am and showed up a few minutes early. They took us out even though there were only 2 of us signed up. Our captain, randy, was knowledgeable about both the area and the manatees. We are not morning people but Randy was informative, interesting, and engaging. Our guide, Austin, was also great to have... More

Perhaps it's to be expected, as this is the cheapest shop that will take you out to see manatees for $45, but we arrived 15 minutes before 8am, so we could be ready to see manatees and haul off by 8am. We didn't leave until 9:15am. The 45 minutes with the manatees was great, even though there were only 4... More

We were very pleased with our experience here. A quick video, all our gear given to us to use and a pontoon boat! Super cheap, only$25 an hour for a family!!! We were there one of the busiest weeks of the year so not the best viewing but had a fantastic day!

We booked a scuba intro for our 2 kids, 12 and 14. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rudi the dive instructor was fantastic with our kids. Both kids now wants to get certified, thanks to Rudis good way of teaching. Rudi gave us a snorkle tour when a manatee showed up during the intro. On our way back we stopped... More

We rented a jon boat to explore King's Bay with the hope of seeing manatees. After watching a short video explaining boating regulations around manatees we were given a map and directions to the most likely places to spot manatees. It was a beautiful boat ride and well worth the $17/hour price. We only saw one manatee during the ride... More

Upon getting into the water knowing that manatees swam somewhere below, I must admit I was frightened to death. One thing I can say for sure is that their size may alarm you, but there is gentleness about them that is indescribable until you experience it for yourself. A group from our university planned this trip with around 20 student... More

We took the 8 am manatee tour this past Friday with Crystal Lodge Dive Center. We rented wet suits and full snorkeling equipment. We found the guide to be very knowledgeable of the area and the manatees. We snorkeled at Three Sisters Spring and it was a very special. I would recommend making such a trip with Crystal Lodge. First... More
