We had a wonderful visit at the park. We especially enjoyed the encounter with Mozey the sloth. It was everything I had hoped for. The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable.

A few weeks ago, my husband and I were chaperones on my twin sons' kindergarten trip to this zoo. I would probably visit the Gulf Breeze Zoo over this zoo, but it wasn't as small as I expected either.

Wide variety of animals. Animals were well fed and cared for. Peacocks free range. Not crowded and you can spend as much time as you like. Needs better advertising for out of town visitors.

Yes, I remember a place with a few picnic tables. There were some people eating lunch there.
