If you are interested in learning more about the history of Cortez Fishing Village, this is the place to go. Great old photographs of the first settlers, and collectables from over the years.

A small house near the Florida Marine museum in Cortez, loaded with memorabilia from the last hundred years of the fishing village. Will only take you a 1/2 hour but will provide you with an insight to the history of the village and it's people.

Cortez is rightly proud of their fishing village heritage and many of the locals have worked with historians to collect a small but effective representation of the families who lived and worked in this area.

Small but informative little museum that shows what the old days were like. Nice display and friendly staff make it a good stop. Festival is fun for the smaller kids and has good vendors from all over.
