I "get it", Florida is a tourist destination. But this seems crazy expensive for the return in entertainment value. Yes, my daughter still talks about the butterflies landing on her shoulder. However, if you feel you HAVE to make this a stop on your vacation plans, make sure you find a coupon for the experience.

A wonderful place to learn about our winged friends and be surrounded by hundreds of them in an open enclosure. Suggest you all wear bright and colorful clothing as that will attract them to you

We went here with our family and 3 year old son it was amazing. We especially liked the parrot house were they were very friendly of course to eat the syrup :) But that was a very exciting experience. Highly recommend to any visitor.

We did this before hopping on a cruise in Miami. It was beautiful and quiet the day we were there. I love photography and thoroughly enjoyed the butterflies, hummingbirds, finches, flowers, waterfalls. You name a pretty thing to photograph and they've got it. You can even catch a rainbow in the spray of the fountain near the bridge! It's a... More

It was a real pleasure to step into Butterfly World on November 8 and enjoy so much beauty in one place. First the educational stop to watch larva being fed. Then enter a room full of beautiful tender winged creatures fluttering about alighting everywhere and if you take a seat and remain still you just may get that butterfly kiss... More

You won't be disappointed with a trip to this fabulous little jewel .. It is great for kids and adults of all ages. You can not take a tripod into the facility but you can take cameras. A macro lens and a short zoom lens are great tools to be able to photograph these beautiful butterflies and birds. The birds... More

Butterfly World makes for a nice 1.5 to 2 hours. We arrived before school crowds. Staff was friendly. Butterflies were beautiful. Flowers were also beautiful. The moat was drained so that was a bit disappointing. Very tranquil.

What a wonderfully relaxing, peaceful place. Full of beautiful species of butterflies and birds. The world outside didn't matter for a few hours.
