Upon arrival we purchased the butterfly identification book. Got so wrapped up in the environment that we didn't use the book but it makes a nice souvenir. As two adults with no children it was nice to find that there is enough space to wander away from the small groups of children. The bug museum is extensive and the bird... More

Surprisingly interesting, and a wonderful location to re-connect with nature---birds, butterflies, insects, and undergo transformational relaxation. Terrific for families, good for couples, excellent for seniors and groups. Warning- it is outdoors, with moderate walking, and high humidity.

Spent the morning at this facility with hubby during a short visit to Fort Lauderdale prior to cruising. The display of butterflies was magical. They were all over the place and stopped for a visit on your arm or head when they felt like taking a rest. Different areas for birds and plants as well which were just as lovely... More

Located in Tradewinds Park in Broward county so you need to pay an entrance fee to the park and it is per person in a car then admission price to butterfly world. You learn about how a caterpillar turns into butterflies then you go into a screened area while they flutter around you. Then you carefully go into another screened... More

The Butterfly World, Aviary and Gardens were simply beautiful. This was a great place to spend and afternoon, learn some things and see many beautiful species of butterfly, small birds and plants. I took away some ideas for my yard at home!

My family of 5 (3 children, 7yrs old, 4yrs old and 9mths old) went to the Butterfly World and it was fantastic. There are sooo many butterflies flying around. None of them landed on us, but it was still very magical to see. We also fed the lorikeets, which in my opinion was the best part of the trip. The... More

Very nice place. Lots of freely flying butterflies and birds. Good place to cool down and relax. Just missing a more attractive place to have a drink

It's a beautiful place but the admission fee is expensive for this place. Try to find discount coupons if possible.

Very nice place to visit while in this area. Cool to feed the birds as they land on you! Butterflies and birds galore! Plants and nature exhibits. Must see and use AAA for a discount.

Having been to other "butterfly gardens", there is no comparison. This was absolutely fabulous. Not just butterflies, but also birds, plants, and gardens.
