If you enjoy kayaking, you will love the bioluminescence Kayak Tour with Fin Expeditions. The tour began at 9 PM and ended just after 10:30 PM. We were able to watch our oars light up as we paddled through the waters. The sunny summer days with warm waters were perfect conditions for the algae and comb jellyfish to glow. We were also able to see planets Jupiter, Mars and a meteor.

Malcolm was the perfect guide directing us to the best locations through the mangroves, educating us on bioluminescence, and sharing fishing tips for our future trips to the 1000 Islands in Cocoa Beach. We’ve kayaked in various locations around the world, but never experienced anything as beautiful as this tour.

Thank you for the 5 star review. So glad you had a beautiful tour. The bioluminescence is amazing and glad to hear that the comb jelly were out for you to see. Our guides really enjoy educating our guest, I'm glad you had a lot to take away with this tour. I hope to book you again!

Had a great time on the sunset cruise. Malcom was a great guide saw cool birds, and even 2 dolphins, went through the mangrove tunnels and watched the sunset. Very relaxing. I would recommend a tour with these guys. This is my second time and enjoyed both.

Great experience!! Would recommend to anyone, whether your experienced r or not! Found the trip both educational and interesting but not over the top or too much etc.

Great guide:lovely, funny, knowledgeable and stayed at the pace of the group not leaving anyone behind. Took some great pictures of the group so there's no need to worry about that! (you can take your phone and there are waterproof bags if you want to risk it however)

Went at mid-day, after an evening storm the night before. A little windy - only when - crossing the islands but the weather was good that way, didn't get too hot!

Saw a horseshoe crab, osprey, blue and grey heron and pelicans as well as a bottle nosed dolphin!!! I think the storm the night before made the water a little merky than normal, but clear and shallow. (I think I saw a sting Ray too, but can't be sure!)

The malgroves are incredible. No doubt about that! Fantastic experience. Would go back as much as possible and will be recommending!

Thank you for such a great afternoon! 😁

Fin Expeditions Kayak tour was incredible! We decided last minute to go kayaking and wanted to take a sunset tour in the middle of the week. Fin expeditions was able to squeeze us into a tour, only 6 people on our tour, and get us on the water 45mins later. Jeremy, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable and my husband and I learned so much (even though we’re both from Florida). He was even able to tell us the name of a bird we see at our house to report back to our toddler at home who wasn’t on the trip! I never felt rushed during the tour, he took his time, and “read” the group. Also took pictures for us with his phone so we didn’t accidentally loose or damage ours. We plan on coming back up this way over the summer to do the bioluminescent tour with Fins Expedition that’s how much we love the company. Thank you guys again so much!!! (And if you need local food recommendations Jeremys your guy. For the after the tour appetite you worked up).

I have a grumpy back, but the kayak was very comfortable. Our guide was very knowledgeable on the wildlife in the area and also filled us in on some of the history of the mangroves. It was such an amazing experience. A side note, no need to be anxious about tipping. Water is very shallow, and was calm the evening we went. Such a relaxing, calming experience.

Our experience was amazing. Our guide was fantastic, very knowledgeable and personable. We lucked out on the weather as well. It was a very calm night with no breeze which was perfect for seeing bioluminescent activity. From catching jellyfish to spotting dolphins inches away from our kayaks this was an experience I would recommend to anyone!

Thanks for the awesome review! The weather seems to almost always be perfect for the bioluminescence tour, it just makes the experience so relaxing. Sounds like you had a great experience with the dolphins being so close! Looking forward to booking you again for another amazing educational experience.

Family of four with a four and nine year old did a day trip. Had two tandem kayaks. Cocoa had experienced colder weather earlier in the week which unfortunately had a negative impact on the wildlife we saw. Can’t control for that and our guides tried there best. We’re still able to see jellyfish, stingray, small fish, horseshoe crabs, and spotted a dolphin towards the end of the trip. Nine year old son really enjoyed kayaking through the mangroves. We are regular kayakers back home so no real learning curve needed. Relatively limited effort needed. Would definitely recommend if looking to spend some time doing a physical water activity with the family.

Jordyn did an amazing job guiding my co-workers and I on a sunset kayak tour while we were visiting Cocoa Beach. We laughed at ourselves when we couldn’t turn our kayaks around or ran into the mangroves. Jordyn was very patient and took time to take nice individual and group photos; even recorded a dolphin swimming nearby. We loved the complimentary pictures and videos. Highly recommend Jordyn!!!!!

Had a great kayaking trip with Dylan. we decided to arrive a little earlier for a picnic lunch and watch the fishermen and the woodstorcks. That was going to be interesting enough but then we see a gator( maybe 5-6 feet) in the water where we were going to launch. I thought this was crazy and I was nervous. Dylan reassured us that no way this gator would bother us. Plus, he said this was very rare. We started off and the gator disappeared. Didn’t see him again!!.
The trip thru the mangroves (Amazon) and the open water looking for mammals was great. Such a beautiful day and the birds were abundant. The Great blue herons were majestic! Pterodactyl like when they are in flight!.
Dylan really makes the trip interesting with his knowledge of the marine life and the waterways.
We almost saw a manatee mother and calf but they seemed to be on a mission. Dylan actually turned us around and we followed for awhile. That was fun. Overall the trip was awesome. I would definitely come back to this company again. Top shelf!

Hello! I am so glad to hear that Dylan was able to scare off the gator for you ;) thank you so much for coming out and hanging with those manatees, even if they were not so interested in introducing themselves that day. Thank you again for sharing your experience and we hope to see you (and maybe some more interactive marine life) real soon!
