Our family of 6 was super excited to learn that there was room for all of us on this sunset kayaking tour. We were enthusiastically welcomed by our guide Genevieve, who carefully prepared us novice, Canadians on the "ins and outs" of kayaking. It was December 20th and the festive mood was carried over into our experience when we were presented with elf/ Santa hats to wear throughout the tour.
The kayaking excursion was definitely memory making : we were guided through the channels and tunnels of the thousand islands and Genevieve was eager to point out the wildlife in the waters and around us. We saw various birds, manatee, and of course the beautiful luminescent aqua life. We were not disappointed! Monkeying through the Mangroves added to the excitement and the sunset hour was illuminated when Genevieve pulled out headlamps and glow in the dark sticks for our paddle back to home base. Our family agreed that this "hands on" experience was way better than standing in long line-ups at the Theme Parks. We were so inspired that the boys all want to rent kayaks and try it again:)

My boyfriend and I did the night kayak to fish for the glowing jellyfish on Sept 5, 2020. Genieveve gave us a realistic description of the night telling us what we would see given this time of year. She was very helpful and answered all of our questions when booking. We usually kayak solo but we were happy to get a two person kayak with the last two spots for our preferred night. This worked out perfect because we could chat with each other without disturbing the rest of the group. James was a great guide and seems to know the spots for the jellyfish. He was professional and friendly. My suggestions: ask about what you may or may not see before you go and bring mosquito repellent and water.

Recreational. First time ever kayaking. Our guide, James did everything from basic instructions on launching our kayaks and how to paddle, including giving tons of information on birds, manatee, dolphins, fish, crabs, trees, you name it, he knew it! We saw a manatee and even had a dolphin swim right up to my kayak! Best experience ever!!

We had a wonder trip through the mangrove tunnels during the Dusk Mangrove Tunnel Your. The tandem kayaks were very stable. During the trip we saw numerous birds of all types and a mother Bottlenose dolphin with her baby. Also, Genevieve showed us some Bioluminescence glowing Comb Jellies. Our 18 year old grandaughter and her 19 year old boyfriend really enjoyed it as did we, her grandparents.

Myself, my hubby and our college aged son took the morning two hour tour today and had a blast! It was a beautiful morning and the directions provided to get to the location were perfect. James (he's the man), had dry bags and cases for our phones available along with bottled water. He helped get everyone situated in the kayaks and provided guidance for paddling and what to look for as well.

We saw many birds known to that area, pelicans, crane, cormorant etc and we saw dolphins as well. My son was a bit adventurous and was traveling a bit ahead of us as all of us had stopped to watch a dolphin nearby. Well the dolphin ended up going right under his kayak and James somehow captured the whole thing on camera, it was so cool!

We went through an area where there are houses right on the water, along with boats, and that was neat to see. We were searching for manatee but it was still a bit early in the year for them so they were elusive.

Paddling through the mangroves was very interesting and fun. We all enjoyed it as did the others on our tour. Ages of those on the tour probably ranged from 15 - 65. They were running a spring break special so we were able to have the photos that James took emailed to us, that was nice.

Overall this was a very organized, well run adventure and I would say the majority of people would be able to handle it physically.

My family and I did the sunset kayaking tour on a recent trip to the area. The guides were very friendly, everything was prepped when we arrived, there were dry bags available to us for personal belongings, etc. The route we took was not too bad once we got into some of the smaller channels and got out of the wind. The mangroves were pretty cool as well. The highlight was definitely sunset and the stars coming out while we were out on the water. That was very beautiful. Overall we really enjoyed it. My only call out is that our group got pretty spread out during the trip and we were not always in site of one another. After the sun goes down that can be a little risky - although we had lights on the tips of the kayaks. I think it's a better practice to make sure everyone at least has a line of sight with everyone else in the group although some people are faster than others. That's the only thing I would improve upon. Everything else was great and I really recommend the tour - especially at sunset.

Great visit out to the see the bioluminescence here in Florida. Very cool tour and amazing tour guide. Justin was our tour guide and he did a great job of explaining the biome we were in and showing us the really cool bioluminescence of the area. Very worth your time and money, though I would recommend going in August when it's "peak season" instead of June when it's nit quite as strong there.

My wife, 29yr old son & I had an enjoyable time with Marcus @ Cocoa Kayaking hunting for the Merritt Island wildlife. We saw many manatees, including mother+baby, dolphins rounding up and feeding on fish, and many different types of birds. Marcus was very pleasant, and informative without being being overly so, as some guides can get. We will contact them the next time we visit there, and can’t wait to check out their new paddleboards. CK also makes us feel good about their give-back to local charities through the tour cost donations. Genevieve was very helpful and understanding in assisting us with the best tour suited for our particular desires

We had family visiting from Texas and were looking for fun, outdoor, socially distanced activities to do with them. We needed something that would appeal to adults, teens and young children. We booked the evening Mangrove and Bioluminescence/Glow Comb Jellyfish Tour....and it hit the mark for everyone!
Genevieve is a wonderful tour guide. She made sure that each person on our tour had a good time and felt safe. She loves what she does and it comes across.
For an added bonus, our group stopped for ice cream at the Fat Donkey after our kayak tour. It was a fun Florida night! Our out of town visitors had a blast!

Had a wonderful time and thought the whole experience was amazing. The water was so calm and the led lights on the water at night made for a uniquely relaxing and mesmerizing time. The tour guide was entertaining and knowledgeable. Will highly recommend this trip to others.
