The main thing we went for was the exhibit on the Windover excavation. It was interesting to see what archeologists can deduce about a culture based many on the remains and grave goods in burials. They also found the oldest textiles in North America (maybe the world) The culture had very sophisticated weaving techniques. The story of the excavation and of the culture they discovered was compelling. The docents were very knowledgeable and loved to tell you everything they knew (almost to the point of being intrusive) The other exhibits were interesting too, covering the more recent history of the area.

This museum is a hidden gem we found on a rainy vacation morning! We had a wonderful and knowledgeable young docent that made it even better. Our children (9 and 11) loved it as well. It was a perfect way to spend the morning. The exhibits range from space exploration, native people, history of Florida, animal species, etc. The exhibits were well maintained. Great job!

Took the Grand Kids and they learned a lot and really enjoyed it as did both Mom and myself. It's great little Museum that is a unique experience and great for teaching about the creatures that roamed the earth in the past. We have gone twice and enjoyed it both times. Great Rainy day adventure.

Visited the museum today. Was nice but not really detailed. Very small for the admission fee charged. The trail was the best part. I would go back again but not in a rush to do so.

Nicely done; informative: Great for young and old alike. We went to see the Windover Bog People Exhibit as we live in Windover. It was interesting to learn the history .
