I've lived in Brevard for many years and my husband often bike to Cocoa Village. I have also visited this area of Cocoa many times to just stroll and shop. I like this area of Cocoa; there are quaint shops, nice parks, and good restaurants.
What bothers me is that they have never come out of the COVID-19 nightmare. They are still requiring masks (many of the stores and restaurants). They are even having an event for Memorial Day in their Riverfront amphitheater at which they are requiring social distancing and masks. IT IS OUTSIDE, FOLKS! Each time I go there now, I feel so uncomfortable.

I love Historic Cocoa because it is partially a glimpse of an old Florida town, partially because of the eclectic mix of bars and restaurants located in a compact area and also because it offers a vastly different experience than beachside but it is super easy and cheap to get to.
If you are in town for a couple days, a lunch or dinner in Cocoa Village will be worth it.
I know this sounds like. Chamber of Commerce ad, it’s not. I love this area, am a TA fanatic, and want people to experience great places and if possible, like a local.

I read about this on Trip Advisor and so glad I decided to spend some time browsing here. There were many shops with unique gift type items and clothing. A couple of the shops featured local artisan work. The prices were reasonable at some of the shops, too.
Parking is available at small lots but you may have to drive around a few blocks to find the right place to park. The "blocks" are small. I liked the fact that they had Public Restrooms, too. They were very clean when I was there. There are also restaurants in the village. Definitely worth a stop.

We LOVED Cocoa village. Great waterfront restaurants, bakeries, little shops. People in the area were really friendly - everyone nodded and smiled as we passed by.
It was a wonderful place to stay for a week. Made a great base to explore the area. Also got to see a shuttle launch from the lcoal park, which was a nice treat.

We used Tropical Trails Transportation for our cruise ship excursion. They picked us up at the cruise terminal and we had a great time visiting unique shops and eating ice cream on our adventure, We spent 5 hrs on our own. Very easy to get around Cocoa Village for you can't get lost. We were dropped off and picked up near the community bathrooms, right behind the blue building. We would recommend this excursion.

I was very surprised having not been here for about 10 years. The buildings obviously haven’t changed but there are so many more shops than when I last came here. We wondered around for about 2 hours and the shops carry very good quality merchandise. It’s definitely worth a stop on the way to or from the beach.

Great park for kids, all kinds of shops. Events like arts&crafts fair etc. Lots of walking. Street parking. Saw $5 parking but couldn’t see where it was. Right on the water, at marina, destination too. Ate at Bar or Pub Americana - very good - tourist prices - across from kids park.

In all of the years that we've gone to Cocoa Beach, we've never gone to Cocoa Village. This trip we fixed that, and we loved it! So many little shops, bars, and restaurants. We'll be frequent visitors from now on!

Is there somewhere available for overnight parking (truck and trailer, able to separate)

what should I enter into my GPS to get the village in the town of Cocao? I read about parking at Forrest and Florida but it sounded like it isn't IN the village. My hubby wants to browse the hardware store and I'll browse through everywhere else while he's in heaven. But first we need to know where to go to find the village. BTW, I'm in Candler right near you.

Where is the best place to park near Coca Village? Never been there before and want to visit, don't want to get clamped or a ticket.

Public lot on the corner of Florida and Forrest. Lots of parking and an easy walk down to downtown. Across the street from the Elks lodge. and Crydermans (great brisket)

Ryan's if you want Cocoa Village.
