I actually hosted 2 events with friends at the Plaster Cottage at Cagans Crossing. Both MaryAnn and her staff (Victoria and Brittney I believe) were fantastic. This place is great for adult and children alike, with enough space not to be disturbed by other guests. If you want a fun evening out with friends or just to relax and immerse your self in creativity, give them a call.

We wanted to get the kids out and do something different. Our kids, ranging from age 2 to age 7, all had fun. There are plaster and ceramic pieces to pain in a variety of price ranges, starting at cute pieces for a couple of dollars. The staff is great and really helpful with the kids. We plan on returning as an activity to do one on one with each child. They loved the experience of painting their own piece and proudly display their creations.

We drove from Fort Myers to check out some Trip Advisor stops "off the beaten path." We were going to check out the President's Museum in Clermont and then paint something at the Plaster Cottage. We ran into traffic and read mixed reviews of the museum, so we just stopped to create some art. This place is a busy, fun, eclectic mix of kids and adults creating. You can paint plaster or ceramics, create a mosaic, or make jewelry. The prices were very affordable (we did 2 tile mosaics on ceramic tile and a large [probably 12 inches by 5 inches] plaster breast cancer awareness ribbon for $24. The atmosphere is a little messy, but for the price it is worth a little mess. The staff member helping us was super friendly. I highly recommend this little stop if you want to relax and create something.

Really nice place to take kids and do a craft project. Lots of choices for kids to paint and the prices are very reasonable. Owner and staff are very friendly and helpful.
