Must admit I'm a bit bias towards this location. I have relatives that live here, so I have visited this place a lot over the last 10 years. I can not believe that being so close to the major tourist attractions of central Florida that...More

This small village does a good job in explaining pioneer life from the 1800's. A suggested two dollar donation helps goes towards the cost of maintaining the structures. It has an active Board of Directors and volunteers to give both tours plus man several buildings....More

Quite interesting to see how Floridians lived back in the early days - visit mid-week to avoid any large groups.

While were were down visiting the flea market we visited a few of the quaint little shops downtown. Super thrift shop there. Have gone back a few more times after this first visit.

Clermont is a quaint place. Nothing very noticeable stands out. The downtown area is rather dead, except when they have festivals or events. Restaurant wise, I have not found anything that is mouth watering. You can take some nice pictures of the area, but like...More

Small town flavor. Lots of interesting places to see and eat. This area is pretty much the way it was many years ago. Nice place to spend some time wandering around.

Clermont has lovely, rolling hills and pretty lakes. I enjoy the Farmers Market and walking around the downtown. There is a colorful quilt shop and an animal welfare thrift store worth browsing.

There is something for everyone here. Stop and shop or grab a drink and a meal. Unique shops that I’ve not ever come across before.

We took our entire school here for a field trip, the volunteers were used to this. We moved quite easily through the different buildings. If you have the chance to go without a tour group, spend some time in the library. Very inviting.

It's free, there is a donation bucket in the first house and the bunker. You all will have a wonderful time. The caretaker's are there and can answer any questions you might have.
