- Steve K2 contributionsA great experience for the whole familyWhat a wonderful place!! We thought we would stop for a few minutes to let our grandson run around but we ended up staying for hours. There was so much to see and do. The animals are very well cared for. The play areas are clean and nice. The breezes off the lake were nice and cool. This is a beautiful place for all ages to explore and enjoy.Visited November 2023Traveled with familyWritten November 5, 2023
- elizabeth dCumberland, Maryland17 contributionsEducational and funWent there with my mother and my husband a couple of weeks before Christmas. It was a lot of fun and educational! The staff at the gift shop were very friendly! Lots of photo opportunities before you even get onto the monster truck!! Our tour guide, Mike, was awesome, very knowledgeable and fun!! If you like dad jokes, he’s your guy!!! We got to learn a bunch on how to choose a citrus and how they are picked… we saw a lot of different rescue animals (camel, bisons, etc) and were even able to feed the zebras!!! We didn’t have time to do the “pick your own fruit” but it looked like fun also!! If you are ever in Clermont, FL you should check it out!!!Visited December 2023Traveled with familyWritten February 3, 2024
- Lisa SEau Claire, Wisconsin42 contributionsThink Old School Florida Roadside AttractionSo, think old school Florida roadside attraction. At first I was disappointed because I had a different vision of what it was going to be like. After I embraced the kitschy fun to be had, I left there with such a good feeling. My husband and I took time to appreciate all the fun retro collections. We fed the animals, played bean bag toss, had an orange creamsicle slushy, taste tested different honey, and took the educational monster truck ride. True, we did expect something different and more oranges, but we enjoyed it because we decided to have fun with it all. Sometime, it is the simple things in life that can be the best.Visited March 2024Traveled with familyWritten April 11, 2024
- Brett BNorwalk, Connecticut2 contributionsGreat change of paceGreat change of pace from hitting theme parks all day. Fresh air and a fun ride on the monster truck. My son, wife and I had a blast. Jim is a great tour guide. Must have the creamsicle! Many different activities or just go for the chill vibe. Would visit again!Visited April 2024Traveled with familyWritten April 20, 2024

The citrus that we saw didn't look like it was in very good shape, and the animals in the "petting zoo" looked similarly shabby. I guess $2 isn't a lot to ask, but still, they charge just to walk around the place? We wanted to learn a bit about citrus, but the people there said the owners weren't around, and they were the only ones who knew anything. Didn't do the monster truck ride, as it wasn't running the day we were there. People in the main shed selling tickets seemed like they were just bored. And the bathrooms were so disgusting my wife and a friend just waited until we got to a nearby gas station. The only interesting thing was a large gator sunning himself in the "gator nursery" area.

Over the years, we always made time to pick citrus at Showcase during our visits to Orlando. Unfortunately, during last week's (early March) visit it was apparent that "citrus" has become a distant after-thought with them. With their new pricing policy, a 10-12 bag of citrus would now cost us $38(!) - and, with just one variety of orange available (no grapefruit or tangerines). Showcase has become a text book example of how NOT to treat your loyal customers.
If you are looking for a wine bar, monster trucks, gem mining (in FL?) or a small petting zoo, then Showcase may be for you. As for us, we will not be going back.

They have two zebus, a miniature horse, an emu, sheep, pigs, ostrich, a donkey, goats, turkeys, ducks, and geese. I visit often to check on these precious animals and they looks miserable. They are there for entertainment and people pay to feed them. There is minimal shade from the sun. They have two tiny tarps that shade a few feet each and half the day it's shading the side of the tourists. There is a tree that provides minimal shade and minimal shelter from Florida's intense thunderstorms we regularly have. There is a shack that the pigs stay in to protect them from the heat, I've witnessed other animals try to get in during storms but are not able to. There is little grass for them, the grass area has antique farm equipment out for display providing a smaller area and a more dangerous one. There are only two small water sources for all of them. The many pigs they have don't have pools to cool off in, the goats have nothing to jump on and they don't get exercise. I've approached and called staff members with my concerns. I've been told that improvements for this area are "on the table for discussion" and they had a better cover for the animals, but a hurricane tore it down (years ago!). When I asked what they do for these animals during the handful of below freezing nights we get I was told they do nothing but it's OK because the animals get along well with each other and they cuddle, she said "it's cute". They get no blankets or covers and have no area to protect them from the elements. I'm attaching a video during an approaching storm last week and a picture of that storm. Hail was predicted and all staff were huddled under the protection of their sheltered roof watching the animals suffer. These animals need an improved area, please visit if you haven't and if you agree with me, please speak up and help these beautiful animals.

We loved the casual nature of going out and picking oranges. It was $2 each to pick and $11 for a 10 lb bag. But being outside and picking your own fruit was delightful. They had Valencia & Naval oranges ripe. A wonderful walk through the groves. Great fun. They also have a little zoo and monster truck rides for a fee. The store has great supplies of honey and salsa and shakes and freezes. Really enjoyed this citrus grove.

After dragging my kids along to work in Orlando, we passed this little stand with an ostrich. We flipped a U-ie and spent an hour feeding the animals, panning for gems and fossils and trying local honey. This is one of this stops the kids will tell their children about as they take their road trips! Very fun little stop along the road!

Based on the website description and video, we expected to drive through swamp(s) and see alligators/snakes/exotic birds in addition to other animals.
We drove on dry land and saw (4) cattle (1) watusi, (3) zebra, (2) Buffalo, (1) goat, waterbuffalo.
$25 for a 3 gallon bucket of animal food is a bit much. I assumed we would hand feed the animals on the tour so I bought the food ... but you simply toss the food to the animals below the truck. We ended up hand feeding the farm animals our left over food. Camel, chickens, goats, donkey, pig, cow.
The driver, Orlando, did an excellent job explaining the history of the land and driving

In my opinion it is overpriced. $5 for a wrist band for u-pick oranges + $10, $20, or $30 for a bag to put them in --> $40 for a family of 4 to pick a medium bag of oranges. $5 for a cup of food to feed the animals. $9 for a medium orange Creamsicle drink. $25 for the monster truck ride. I would not go back.

Do not pay to pick the fruit off the trees. We spent $50 to pick a medium and a small bag of oranges. We took them home and tried what we picked and all of the fruit was bitter and we could not eat it. When I e-mailed them they said that if we were in the area they would "comp" us a bag. We were on vacation from Illinois. The wine is good but DON'T waste your money picking oranges you can't eat. When I e-mailed them the second time, they never responded. They should refund money if we couldn't eat a single orange unless you like bitter fruit.

Great fun, a few animals there to see, play area for toddlers and sand put which is good. I would say some of the old toys need to be thrown away but other than that this place is a perfect way to spend some time away from the crowds of Disney.
The monster truck was fun and our one and three year old loved it. Orlando was amazing with his talk and answering questions and keeping the kids entertained..... even feeding the cows oranges.... who knew they liked oranges!?
We had a frozen wine cooler after which was very tasty. Will definitely return for evening activities with live music one weekend.

I took my son for his birthday last week, and we both loved it. We drove 2 1/2 to get there. We arrived early which was great because I paid and then we could check out the animals, gift shop and the grounds. At 11:50 we went to the designated area and we were greeted by Jeff our tour guide. We were the first ones on the vehicle and got the best seats. Jeff was a fantastic guide he was friendly, funny and knowledgeable. We saw alligators, zebras, wild turkeys and fed oranges to the cattle. Also rode through deep water which was cool. It took an hour and I thought it was worth the price.

Hi, my name is Lisa.
"I am looking for somewhere where I can volunteer. I found this place close to my community and want to take my chances.
I could do anything as far from preparing the area before or cleaning after, to helping with the animals."

Hi, I guess you could but why would you? I don't get the question to be honest… I would think that you go on that tour to see the landscape and the animals (gators) not to get drunk… There is a little store selling beverages etc. when waiting for the tour to start, and I guess you can buy alcohol too…
