Lakeridge Winery & Vineyards opened its doors in February 1989 in Clermont, Florida and sits on a 127-acre estate in gently rolling countryside some 25 miles west of downtown Orlando. This area was once the center of the State's grape industry. After years of phenomenal growth, Lakeridge ranks as Florida's largest premium winery, and remains a pioneer in the development of table and sparkling wines from muscadine and hybrid grapes. Vintage-dated varietals from hybrids such as Stover and Blanc Du Bois are produced and marketed along with blended and sparkling wines from native Muscadine grapes.More than 110,000 people are expected to visit the winery annually, enjoying its extensive tasting room, festivals and gift shop. With an overall production of over 80,000 cases, that's over 960,000 bottles. Lakeridge Wines are sold under the Lakeridge and Lakeridge Reserve brands wines at the winery and at major supermarkets and wine shops throughout Florida . Together, these labels have won more than 700 awards for excellence in winemaking. Complimentary Winery tours and wine tasting are offered 7 days a week; Monday – Saturday, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Sunday, 11:00 a.m. – 5 p.m.

My dad has bought wine from here for years. My sister and I were on our way to see our Aunt for her birthday. She loves wine too and lives in a county in Arkansas that is dry even in the rain. This is definitely a place to visit. Be sure to not be in a hurry. They have tours... More

Nice off the beaten track winery in the hills of Florida. STaff was very friendly and accommodating. Nice place to spend a few hours!

Always fun to tour Lakeridge and do wine tastings. Muscadine based wine is certainly different that other varieties but we live the homegrown Florida wine. Sure wish Lakeridge was a Harvest Host member since my wife and I live to take 10 friends at a time in the RV to wineries like Endless Summer in Fort Pierce.

On vacation decided last-minute to drive over to a local winery. We arrived just after the tour started, so missed the first part of the video. Interesting to learn about the Vineyard & Winery from the video and the tour guide. Since we were part of the last tour we only saw empty containers outside and silent machinery inside. Still... Great wine. Especially the Sunblush and Southern White. We happen to like a sweet and semi-sweet wine. Sunblush is our favorite. Oh no, and I know you wine enthusiasts are going to hate this, but we sometimes combine the two and enjoy a glass of "southern sun" as we call it. I consider Sunblush a semi-sweet and Southern White a... More
