About 20 minute drive from Clermont. They have wine tours and wine tasting. I love their Southern Red!

Great wine. Especially the Sunblush and Southern White. We happen to like a sweet and semi-sweet wine. Sunblush is our favorite. Oh no, and I know you wine enthusiasts are going to hate this, but we sometimes combine the two and enjoy a glass of "southern sun" as we call it. I consider Sunblush a semi-sweet and Southern White a... More

I had a friend down from Colorado. It was raining so we decided to head to the Vineyard. Our tour guide was Doug. He was funny and energetic. The vineyards were beautiful. The tour ended with a tasting of 4 different wines. If you don't like red wine then this tour is not for you.

I saw a hill, I drove up the hill and parked; never wanted to leave. Lakeridge is beautiful with staff going out of their way to answer questions and make one feel at home. The tour with video is genuine and informative. I was impressed and cannot wait to return. Honestly, I was so happy there. At the end of... More

A casual afternoon activity with friends or out-of-town visitors for a wine tour and tasting. Best to combine a visit when there is a festival or event so there is more to see and do.

I took a drive down one Saturday afternoon to check this place out. Lakeridge Winery is about a 45 minute drive south from The Villages. The parking lot was full of cars and there were a ton of people walking around the grounds. They had guys outside directing where to park. The vineyard is about 75 acres with about 60... More

Went for the annual harvest festival and even though there were lots of food and drink vendors, there was little to do otherwise which was a bit disappointing. Would have enjoyed looking at crafts or little booths like that. Music was good and grape stomp messy fun!

Whenever I have visitors from elsewhere, I try to make this an informal stop that is interesting and different. Staff is great, product decent. Various activities during the summer, like the 'grape stomp'.

Wine is good, weekend events in the summer. Always friendly staff. Tour is free and takes about 30 minutes with the wine tasting afterwords for those of age.
