We had a wonderful sunset cruise experience. The pirates were sooooo good with kids and made it so fun for them. Complimentary beverages much appreciated. Was a great time!

My husband and I were on a kid free vacation in Clearwater at the end of September 2020. I reluctantly agreed to the pirate ship sunset cruise not really knowing what we were in for. I am so glad we chose Captain Memo's! The sunset timing was perfect, there was a designated adults only area and there were multiple other groups of adults without children just like us. We enjoyed the free drinks, music, and watching the cute kids activities going on in the lower deck with the Captain Memo staff. I would totally recommend this for families with young children as well (the staff kept the kids busy almost the entire time... and then there was a dance party for everyone at the end (if desired) - kids seemed to love it. But so did we (without our children).…

We went on a sunset cruise with my husband and our 9 year old son. The ship was very cool looking and the crew was very nice, attentive and helpful. They Were not that many people on Board and they didn’t pushed the social distancing rules so people were too lax and got in our space when there was clearly more space on board . I did not appreciate that people didn’t stay 6ft apart - there was room. The music was pretty good. My son is 9 and loves pirate stuff especially scavenger hunts so they had a small one, they had a water gun fight which he loved and they told stories . The views were spectacular and they stopped so we could see the sun set. Really appreciated that. It says they offer free soft drinks and beer - we don’t drink beer and soft drinks was flat soda, which were unappealing since they were already opened. They should have cans-of soda for those that don’t drink. This was just a minor detail - If you drink beer or wine they were plentiful. So overall it was a good cruise, and my 9 did have fun. The ship was so cool looking I think I wanted more pirate stuff to go with the look. It was good but didn’t go the extra step to great. …

The ship looked so fun but it was actually very boring. My twin 8 year old grandkids were so excited to go on this cruise but they were so bored after about 20 minutes. Definitely way overpriced for the experience. They could shorten this 2 hour trip by at least an hour or have more things to engage kids. Very disappointing. The crew appeared not engaged at all.…

We had so much fun doing this! The kids absolutely loved it. Free soda for kiddos and beer and wine for adults. The staff were all very friendly and were excellent with the kids. They kept them occupied with fun activities, singing, "tattoo" application, and games. We loved it! Wish I could give it 10 stars!! …
