Captain Spag made our boat ride a true experience! He was so professional & informative from the time I first spoke with him. He made sure we were very comfortable and catered to our needs and wants during the ride! We were able to play our own music, we brought snacks, drinks, & cocktails! He took us to the sandbar, 1 tree island, & even allowed us to stop and jump in the gulf a few times! He took pictures of us, and allowed our daughters to drive the boat a couple times!! We were able to see a dolphin, and he took us to see some of the biggest houses on the water! He was very informative about the history of Clearwater, which made the experience even more interesting! When we first got on the boat he showed us his Captain license, which really helped us to feel safe & secure! The weather on this day was perfect, however the waters were a little too choppy for us to go out to deep into the gulf. Which was fine, because we just wanted to cruise on the waters more than rock! Lol! When we come back to Clearwater, we will definitley book with Captain Spag again!!!

If you are looking for a fantastic family friendly charter boat rental company then this is the place! Captain Spag and his wife were so incredibly sweet and hospitable to our very large family of 13. For our group with busy young children the Sunseeker charter yacht was the absolute highlight of the vacation. Captain spag set out a wonderful lunch spread, turned up the music, and let the kids explore the boat... he even showed them each how to steer ( all seven kids!)! The kids loved the dolphins they found for us, as they jumped and followed the us through the bay. It was like a dream. The entire process was flawless as Gulfside Adventures was extremely accommodating to our large group.True professionals with years of experience, wonderful with children, safe and fun for families. Thank you Captain Spag, we will be back!

My Brother got me the 3 hour Charter as a birthday gift, we enjoyed the beautiful views of the gulf, the Dolphins and having One tree Island to ourselves. But it was Captain Spags who made the experience. I highly recommend the Charter but assure you request Captain Spags for the greatest boating experience.

From start to finish our party of six (two adults, four teenage children) had an awesome experience with Captain Spag! Booking was easy, he responded promptly to my calls, and confirmed all the day before our adventure including arranging to pick our group up from the dock literally a two minute walk from our hotel. The cruise was incredible- we had dolphins, manatees, and a great time tubing in the bay. He is also very knowledgeable about the area and recommended a great place where we had dinner that night.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Could not recommend more! The Yacht was absolutely beautiful and lunch was perfect. The crew members were so fun, easy going, and accommodating! Communication was super easy & clear. Reasonable pricing for an AMAZING experience. Honestly, one of the highlights of the bachelorette trip. We had 13 girls & we all fit together on multiple parts of the boat. 12/10!

Captain Spag and his wife were AMAZING and made my birthday so special. There was a last minute issue but Captain Spag made a way to resolve it and it was a great time overall. Highly recommend!

We were a group of 4 and 1 other couple were a part of our trip. First thing we were not impressed that you had to climb onboard on a cheap house step ladder. It was not a good setup. We had a physically challenged person in our group. WE started our trip in cloudy grey skies, which wasn't bad, enjoyed the break of the sun and heat. We all sat up by the captain. Not enough comfortable seating here, the boat needs some updating and maintenance work. The windshield near where I sat was cracked, and broken. The boat needs a scrub down, and freshening up. The crew forgot the stepladder to get off the boat, and we had to step down off the boat onto a wicker chair to access the dock so that we could go into the restaurant. So unprofessional! We had hoped this would be an awesome experience........not so much!!
At one point we had to go sit downstairs as the rain came in hard, and the seating area was not appropriate for sitting 6. The area was dingy and dirty. Even for the price we paid it was not a good deal.
We trolled around, not cruised to our restaurant (which was very good and ) back onboard, we couldn't wait to return to the dock and leave this boat. On the way back, we felt all the captain was interested in was his tip, he brought it up at least 3 times, and how we should calculate it. Not cool.
The worst for me..... the captain sat back with his feet steering the boat, with his feet in my face
the whole way back. Very unpleasant!! Glad to have reached the dock and get off! Never again!

Bitterly disappointed, used this deal on our honeymoon. We were all hustled before getting on the boat for $16 extra cash for a 'sunset cruise' upgrade, as well as extra for tax and tip. The cabin was stifling hot, at least 100 degrees. It was awful and caused one guest to get sick. The "gourmet" meal was obviously takeout and mediocre at best. Before the cruise we were sent a menu that included cash bar options, and when we arrived, Spag asked us where our cooler was. He never told us it was BYOB. We certainly would have brought champagne for our cruise had we known! Instead, we had nothing, getting bottled water from a vending machine at the last minute. Who serves a meal and no beverages?
His first mate's "car broke down", so Spag was captain, waiter and busboy. He asked if any of us had experience driving a boat if there was an emergency.
Our 3-hour "upgraded" cruise left after 6pm and we were in the car headed home by 8:20- jut barely two hours. And, we were hustled for cash again getting off the boat. Spag was friendly, but not professional, and feels like a con artist. This was not the romantic honeymoon experience we hoped for. We also booked (and canceled) another outing with him in his Model T, but he said it's in the shop for an indeterminate amount of time...yet the deal is still being sold on LivingSocial. This was a truly terrible experience. We were on our honeymoon, the two other couples were celebrating anniversaries. We were all disappointed.

This place is horrible!! I had a model T ride scheduled for today at 11am and was notified last night around 5pm that he is calling to cancel EVERYONE due to rain tomorrow!!! Glad to know he can predict the weather . So of course it was sunny the next day and I email him and get an email back not going to happen today. So I am out a hotel that I booked with no reason to cancel the ride. I would be leary if you book a hotel or anything you can't cancel because he backs out anytime he wants to regardless of how he disappoints his customers or how much money they might lose. This was also a Father's Day gift which left my son crying.

The first part of our "adventure" (taking a tour of Clearwater in a Model-T) was fun....got lots of waves from folks as we drove by, and Spag, our chauffeur, was very nice and accommodating. He pointed out a few areas of interest, but the tour didn't tell us much about Clearwater. One BIG plus was the photo session he took of us next to the car, printing one in sepia tones to match the "flavor" of the ride. When we bought our tickets to the tour, it stated that we would have lunch at Sheperd's magnificent buffet...a $25.00 per person buffet! When I called to make reservations AFTER buying the tickets, Spag told me that we would have to eat at the bar because the buffet was closed. That disappointed me, but I thought it would be OK. The food was mediocre with a very limited menu. My husband's burger was good, but my fish tacos were pretty tasteless. My recommendation...be sure to find out if the buffet is operating BEFORE you buy the tickets. Otherwise, it's a REALLY expensive car ride!

I am very sorry for your disappointment with the food offered for lunch. Unfortunately, at that time, Shepherds was undergoing a major renovation, but change is good since the food in the new restaurant will be outstanding! Once again, I am sorry for your food experience but happy that you enjoyed the ride and photos.
