I have used Gulfstream Charters five times. They are consistently one of the best run and successful charter fishing groups I have ever used! Our most recent trip was no exception! Captain Brad and the first mate did a fantastic job to ensure we all had a great time on our 4 hour fishing excursion. We had a few “newbies” and the crew made them feel like seasoned fishermen! Captain Brad put us on the fish and we hauled in over 75+ in our short time out! Unfortunately, the Red Groupers were all undersized, but we loaded up on Grey Snapper and several other species in the cooler. These guys are well worth the money and I will continue use them on my fishing trips out of Clearwater Beach!

My son and I have always enjoyed fishing, whether it was fresh or saltwater. He recently asked if we could take 6 of his long-time friends out to do some Snapper and Grouper fishing. I found Gulfstream charters and decided to take a shot with them.
From the initial booking process, to the friendliness of the Captain and First mate, to filling our cooler with fish, they made the experience effortless and incredibly enjoyable for us all! They put us on the fish and we had non-stop action in all 3 spots we hit! Although the Red Grouper were a bit undersized, we were able to keep a few Gags and lots of Grey (Mangrove) Snapper. The highlight of the trip was the Atlantic Sharpnose shark that put up a huge fight!
I would recommend Gulfstream charters to anyone looking for an enjoyable and productive fishing trip. Their level of professionalism and wonderful demeanor made the trip incredibly special. We all cannot wait to go out again very soon!

What a day of fishing! Capt Brad and Kyle took amazing care of us 8 ladies (yep - 8!). We were catching fish as soon as our bait hit the bottom. We caught grunt, Spanish Mackerel, King mackerel, red grouper and a SHARK!! What?!? They were so respectful about size so some fish had to go back (for next time). They broke the fish down and the Salted Cracker (right there in the marina) cooked it up for us. We only could keep the grunt and Spanish mackerel and they were delicious.
Capt Brad and Kyle helped our friend reel in a shark that was about 5 ft long. It was an experience of a lifetime.
I will not hesitate to book with them again!

We booked a 6 hour afternoon trip on the Gulfstream II earlier this month. There were 9 of us total and we had tons of room to move around and relax during our trip due to the sheer size of the Gulfstream II. Corey took great care of us and was very knowledgeable about fishing methods and what we might catch on our trip. He also has a great sense of humor!! He was very patient with the few of us who hadn't done much fishing. Captain Brad did a fantastic job of putting us on fish right away. We spent half our time bottom fishing where we caught several Grouper and lots and lots of Grunts. Brad then took us trolling and we had a blast catching King Mackeral after King Mackeral. I've been on dozens of charter boats over the years and our trip with these guys was, by far, the most fun I've had on a charter! I would certainly recommend them and will book trips with them again the next time we're in Clearwater.

This was our first experience with sea fishing so we did a half day charter. We had an amazing experience! We were on the Gulfstream I with Capt Jeff and Brad. We were told this was an off time for fishing and that the water was murky so we might not catch much. However, we brought in quite a few Spanish mackerel and a Bonita. Capt Jeff was born and raised in Florida and has a great intuition with the fish. The weather was great and even though it was choppy, we did not get sea sick. We will definitely come back for a longer charter when there’s more fish! (October, March through mid-April, and summer).
Pro tip: Brad told us if you are worried about being sea sick, take Dramamine the night before and then in the morning, but take some caffeine because it might make you sleepy 😅 (we did Ginger pills and were fine)
Pro tip II: capt Jeff filleted the fish for us and we took some of it to Salt Cracker (literally across from the boat) and had them cook it up for us. It was ah-mazing! That was the icing on the cake!
Pro tip III: be mindful of the weather when you go. It’s out of the Capt’s control. I would not recommend the middle of summer if you can’t handle heat or right after/before a storm if you can’t handle waves😅 also the storms make the water murky and decreases the likelihood of catching something.

Capt Jeff and Brad where amazing. Only charter in the area for groups of more than 6. We had a family of 8 for a 4 hour morning trip, and there was plenty of room on the boat. Crew was knowledgeable and funny. Everyone caught fish because of how much they care about the experience. Even the youngest 4 year old had a great time. Brad is probably still singing Apples and Bananas. There wont be another charter for our family. Thanks guys we had so much fun see you next trip.

We had a fantastic time on our fishing trip with Captain Jeff and Deckhand Deanna. We had a party of 7 and went on the smaller boat which had enough room for all of us. Deanna did a very good job at keeping us comfortable. We started the trip by catching Mackerel and Jeff knew exactly where to take us. We caught at least 30 of these fish right away. Then we went out a little further and decided to rest our luck at getting a barracuda. Again, Jeff knew exactly where to go. We weren’t having any luck with that and were just about to head in when Jeff decided to give it just a few more minutes and we actually caught a barracuda! They were very helpful and patient with inexperienced customers. When we got the hang of it, Deanna let us make the trip our own by showing us what she does to take the fish off the hook and pull them in. She was constantly working hard to keep the deck clean and looking nice for all of us. I would highly recommend these guys and can’t wait to try them again if we come back to Clearwater!

Family from out of town made a reservation to go out in February. They were promised that they would catch Grouper & Snapper. They weren’t told that they would have to throw them back due to them not being in season. So the Gulfstream II got their $1200 and my family came back with a few Grunt.

We took a group of 7 (including 5 high school seniors). We had a great time! Bottom fished for a little while. Caught lots of sea bass, white grunt, and even a few puffer fish. The kids had a blast. Tried some shark fishing...unfortunately the line broke. But it sure was exciting trying to reel it in! Captain Brad and the deckhand were both very knowledgeable, helpful, and professional. They related well to our group. The boat had EXCELLENT shade...even had some great places to catch a few zzzz’s when you wanted to take a break from fishing. Capt. Brad cleaned the fish for us, and then told us of a local place that would cook them for us! Had a great time and would definitely recommend this charter to others!

Went out on two of their boats. Once with Capt. Jeff and Christian, next with Capt. Brad and Cory (aka Bait). Capt. Brad’s boat is bigger and has A/C in the cabin, plus a covered deck so it was definitely cooler! We went trawling one day and bottom fishing the next. Had a Cormorant follow us for most of one trip. His name is Kevin if you see him. Ian caught a sharksucker on the next trip which was really cool! Super nice guys on these boats, a lot of fun and when we got back, had our fish cooked for us at Crabbys. July is not the best time for fishing because of the warmer waters, but we still caught enough to make it interesting! Definitely would book these guys again!

Hello, can I ask if the weather is calm at the beginning of March ? Also how far out do you need to go? We are a group of 5 looking for a private charter while in the area.
