They charge you a fee to go all the way out to the end of the pier. There really isn't anything all that special about the pier. The same as over in Cocoa Beach.

The pier is such a fun walk. You can take in all of Clearwater Beach. We paid a dollar to go to the end. A lot of people were fishing and enjoying the view. We watched a storm roll in off the sea and felt we definitely go our dollars worth.

we have not been to the pier in about 6 years. We made the mistake of going for a sunset view on a Saturday night.(wont do that again). Traffic and parking was terrible, but there was a lot to do shopping in the area stores, walk the beach and after dark try and enjoy the sideshow/street performers and local artist... More

A nice place to get out and visit - bustling with activity and things to do and see. A must visit at least one time during each trip to the area.

We sat here for a good couple of hours, mainly because it was far too hot and the breeze up there was amazing! Excellent views from all round. You have to pay a dollar to go right to the end of the pier but what's a dollar! They also do fishing on the end of the pier, we didn't do... More

The area is very pretty. It is definitely a tourist area and more family oriented. We enjoyed it, but would find other attractions now that we have been/seen the pier.

I enjoyed walking around the pier area every evening because of the entertainment and the vendors on the pier. I bought a very reasonable bracelet and just love it! Sunset is absolutely stunning

We make it a point to visit the pier & the gift shop every time we visit Clearwater Beach. The staff is friendly & informative as well as the fact that they employ honor students as a perk for good grades. What a phenomenal incentive for the kids. It is an example of how a city ought to be countrywide,... More

Walked all the way to the end of the pier. To walk pass the gate it cost $1, kids are free. Lots of venders to get beach theme gifts. We'll visit again.
