The park has a lot of Palm trees and a lot of parking lot. Everywhere you will see a sign not to forget to pay your parking fee. A part is a fishing area with 2 piers and other a beach where you can walk around or playing with children. From here you can see the Clearwater beach

An even larger beach than Clearwater but boy there were not many visitors around so you had more than a football field per person. Really beautiful and well worth a vis5

Nice beach peaceful and quite, we had a nice time with our beautiful daughter also if it was a little bit windy. Really nice beach if you want to be away from the crowd of Clearwater beach

We have made several trips to Florida over the years and this beach was the best for finding in tact shells. We had decided not to collect shells this time since we had some at home but couldn't help but pick up a few since they were so beautiful and perfect. We visited on Veterans day so the admission was... More

I wanted to get some sun and tan while in the Tampa area. I choose this beach because it was less crowded. $5 dollar parking and renting a chair and umbrella wasn't too bad. There was a lot of families out, but that didn't bother me. Got to soak up some great Florida sun and the beach wasn't terribly crowded.... More

Sand Key park has great beach access with very reasonable parking rates ($5/car/day). The beach is not raked here so it's more of a natural beach, with good shelling and natural materials to decorate your sand castles! Less crowded than nearby Clearwater Beach. There are also picnic shelters within the park and walking trails.

Very nice park with a beautiful dog park. Lots of parking with complete access to a very nice beach. Paths to walk and lots of fauna and flora to check out.
