I love this beach. The park driving in is beautiful. Parking is not a problem, though it does cost $5 for the day. Clean bathrooms/change rooms. The beach is not crowded, clean with nice sand and the water is a perfect shade of blue.

Sand Key is a short walk over the bridge from clearwater beach south or $5 all day come and go parking which is handy when bringing our stand up paddle board to the beach

This beach was easy to get to. It had lots of parking for $5/day. Tons of room on the beach. Change rooms with showers and bathrooms. I believe life guards are on duty during peak times of the year. We went in December (80 plus degree day?!) so there were no lifeguards. Watch out for the seagulls if you have... More

We took the Causeway over and paid $5 to park all day. They have a good playground and picnic areas in addition to the beach. The beach is well maintained but bring your own food. They have bathroom facilities.

Want to avoid the hustle-and-bustle of Clearwater Beach and the very expensive parking, then this is your beach. Not as fancy as Clearwater Beach but serene and comfortable with public facilities, showers, rentals and concessions and ample and 5 bucks-all-day-parking!

A beautiful park in a beautiful area. Well kept, clean and never really very crowded, at least when I've been there. Great natural and "untouched" preserve of Florida beach.

What can I say, they have the beaches, they have fishing piers, they have a dog-walk/run area and lots of space to get together with friends and family. A great facility for the average guy on the million dollar beach area.

Beautiful and quiet. Very nice for families. The water was very nice and the sand is beautiful white and soft. Many types of people there. Needs more garbage cans and possibly a place to rinse off.

My son and I visited Sand Key daily while in Clearwater for a week. Absolutely gorgeous! I can't say how peaceful and beautiful it is, it's a must see.
