A great quiet beach with clear blue water and lots of shells!! All day parking ($5) is a steal compared to Clearwater Beach! Restrooms and outdoor shower are plentiful. Small food truck nearby for those who don't want to pack a lunch. More picnic table would be nice! Great views - boats, birds, gentle rolling waves due to nearby rock... More

We stay in Madeira, but always make a point to spend a day at Sand Key. It is much quieter, and the shelling is amazing. Only negative I would say is price for chair rental seems a bit steep (25.00 for the day). Parking is plentiful, restrooms are clean!

We renewed our wedding vows here, much more attractive natural beach than Clearwater. Lots of wildlife and sand strewn with shells, beautiful sunset too.

Tons of shells. Alot less touristy then clearwater. It's a must see. Parking is reasonable. Would definitely go back

This is a beautiful park. I was in the area and wanted to fish off of their piers. There was a barricade up and only a sign saying "Closed" Never a mention of the storm damage. tried to call the park & got a machine. Left a message for someone to call. Later that day I got a call and... More

A nice place to have a birthday party or family gathering then head over to sand key beach. I have been to several birthday parties here but im unsure of how you get the shelter it may be first come first served.

This is a county park and they have kept the beach natural. There is a restroom and shower facility there. Also, you must pay for parking.

I love it here! There is a beach, a park and rocks galore to climb on! The best part is sunset and the pirate and party boats that go by.
