On a short vacation visiting my relatives in Clearwater. Found the winery while looking for directions online, thought where is a vineyard? Arrived at an industrial park drove around and saw the sign. Walked thru the door a little skeptypical on what I would find, To my surprise the best tasting wines and nicest people that you could ever come across. Spent about 90 min tasting wines and talking to the owners, what a nice day. Wish I could get wines sent to NJ, but sadly can not due to the laws. Can't wait to go visit family again, the winery will be on my itinerary.

The wines you will sample in this winery are from sweet to dry reds. Just like it should be. While Janine offers the tastings to you...Michael will give you a history/tour of the winery & his wine making skills. It is a very pleasant experience and you should try it out. What was interesting is you pour your own wine to taste, in the provided wine glass as Janine moderates the tasting function. We have traveled to many small wineries of this type...and found that we didn't really care for the other winery products. But it was definitely different here...we purchased many bottles of wine! A FIRST! There is something here for everyone...come by and relax in a casual-non fast paced environment and let your senses take care of the rest.

My husband and I visited the Murielle Winery on January 28th, 2012 for our anniversary. We have been to multiple wineries across the country and this was our favorite. The winery is run by a man, Michael and his wife, just the two of them! They produce the wine, fill the bottles and hand label them; very impressive. We probably spent 30 minutes talking to Michael as he answered all our questions and shared fun stories about his experience in the wine business. You can tell he is very passionate. We have never been to winery where someone took that much time to talk to us and not give us the "generic" or "rehearsed" answers. The experience was great, and the wine was fantastic! Most of their wines are sweet wines, which is our favorite. We bought four of their wines - Mad Port II, Chocolate Raspberry Port, Cabernet Franc, and Sweet Passion Dessert Wine (Ice Wine). They are all amazing!

Don't be fooled by the small space, it is like no other winery and that is what made it special. They had many different wines to taste (about 15). They give super generous size tastings and are willing to open most of their wines to taste if they are not open already.

So glad my husband and I didn't give up as the directions we were given were just a little confusing. Once found, we were pleasantly surprised. The owners were very welcoming and made us feel at ease, since we had never been to a winery. They were very knowledgeable and didn't hesitate in making us feel right at home. The wines were all just wonderful. I would highly recommend that everyone visit this winery as we will definately revisit someday. In the meantime, we plan on ordering some of their wonderfully tasting wines.

I love to visit wineries. I try to find at least one every place I go on vacation. They are always interesting, I always learn something, and most have at least one wine that I really like.
Murielle Winery was the find of my lifetime! I love almost every single wine they have. On my first visit, I took home 3 that I like best (that day) -- three that had surprised me. I came back 3 months later for a case.
The infusion of other fruits with the grapes makes the wines surprising. There is no tannin taste (I hate tannin!), but are very smooth. It does tend to sweeten the wine a bit, or at least take away the dryness, but that is what I love.
I cannot recommend this winery highly enough. Out of 5, it is a 6!

I went to Murielle Winery on a Sat afternoon before going to a Phillies spring training game. The Winery is probably only 10-15 mintues away from the ball park. This was probably the most laid back wine tasting I've ever been too. They have a wide variety of dry and fruit wines to choose from. The owners are very accomodating and knowledgeable. I had a great time tasting most of the wines they had to offer and brought some home with me as well. I would absolutely recommend going here if you are in the area, its not your average wine tasting.

I wanted to surprise my boyfriend for our two year anniversary by taking him to visit the winery that created our favorite wine. Well let's just say the visit was the highlight of our day! We spend time with the owners, Michael and Janine, and were impressed with the hospitality and information provided by both. Great people and we learned so much about the wine making process. So not only the best wine, but a whole new insight!

After driving around for a good 10 minutes debating if we were in the right location, we finally walked in the door and were so pleased that we did. I'm new to wines and not very knowledgeable about them at all, but they were so friendly and welcoming that it made the experience a wonderful one. They weren't stuffy or stuck up- the environment was very laid back and casual which we really enjoyed. They had a handful of sweeter wines, which were amazingly delicious. Definitely check it out.

We love the wines offered at Murielle Winery. They have a large selection wines, free wine tastings where you can sample all they have to offer. The owners are welcoming and have a vast knowledge of wines. They make the beginning wine drinker thru the experienced ones feel right at home. This is a great place to spend a few free hours while visiting the Tampa/St Pete area. .

We found Murielle Winery on-line while visiting Clearwater. We didn't know what to expect and were surprised to find a store front in an office park. We went in without an appointment and met the loveliest couple who were happy to share their wine and knowledge with us. They make their wines right there and they use an interesting combination of fruits with many of their wines to create a light, pleasant flavor. We came away with a case and a very pleasant afternoon with Michael and Janine.
