The Yacht, "Three Moons" is a newly renovated 32 foot British built, sailing catamaran located in Clearwater Florida, across from Clearwater Beach, & just south of Caladesi & Honeymoon Island State Park. "Wine, Water and Wind Sunset Cruise" is a popular voyage. Cruises start at $125/hr. This 2-3 hour cruise is customized to your desires and is the perfect opportunity for those wanting the experience on the water without being forced to hang out with strangers! We can accommodate up to a maximum of 6 guests for each cruise. Other customizable cruises are available ranging from 2 to 8 hours. Connect to our stereo and listen to your own music or enjoy the sound of the waves. Plenty of room to relax in or out of the sun, lounge on the front trampoline or jump off at one of the many isolated white sand beaches we frequent. We customize the trip to your needs. Captain Derek is a US Coast Guard licensed charter captain and the vessel is a US Coast Guard inspected vessel as well.

I’ve been coming to Clearwater my entire life and have never done anything like this and I’m not sure why!!! The price was very reasonable for a private charter which was especially important to us during the pandemic. The boat was clean and beautiful and Captain Derek was very kind and hospitable. We emailed back and forth a bit before the trip which i really appreciated because he genuinely wanted to make sure that we had a good ride and did not hit any storms while we were out. He provided glasses for us, a wine stopper and even took pictures! We hope to be back soon to sail the moon again!

This was our family's first catamaran experience. Captain Derek was awesome and very accommodating! The kids enjoyed everything about this 2-hr cruise, and Captain Derek even let us take turns getting our pictures taken behind the captains wheel! Highly recommend Sail The Moon to anyone visiting the Clearwater area. We look forward to booking again in the future!

It was easy to get to the port. The ship was clean and comfortable. The captain was friendly, knowledgeable, prepared, a great host, and funny. We had a great 2 hour cruise. We are already planning to return next year for a 4 hour cruise.

We had a wonderful morning/afternoon traveling to 3 Rooker Island. The water was clear blue, plenty of shallow areas for kids to play, but also had deeper areas for adults. It was great for traveling with little kids. Endless seashell hunting opportunities. The ride/sail was relaxing and we didn’t have to bother with anyone else as on larger charters. We brought sandwiches and beverages for our ride back and was kept cool for us on the boat. Capt. D was friendly and offered a great local hangout suggestion after our experience. He also helped us spot dolphins several times while on our trip.

Great service. We had a great time with Derek. We spent 2 hours on a private tour and had a very nice, relaxing time. Highly recommended.

Captain Derek was a great, accommodating tour guide. The ride was scenic and relaxing and Captain Derek added to the experience with tidbits of info about the island and it’s inhabitants.

We had a wonderful three hour trip with Derek and Jennifer sailing Tampa bay. We were able to see dolphins and swim/paddle board around one-tree island. Their trip exceeded our expectations for the afternoon. Highly recommend the trip.

Was wonderful meeting you both and hope you had a safe trip home. Was a great day on Clearwater Harbor / Gulf of Mexico / SandKey Pass just off Clearwater Beach (so not confuse those reading that we were actually on Tampa Bay). Love to have you back again !

I wasn't sure about going out on a sailboat on the ocean. My first experience going out on a boat not on a lake in MO! Captain Derek didn't disappoint. First class all the way, with the captain masterly handling all that the seas would give him! We absolutely enjoyed our 3 hour trip! We saw multiple dolphins, and even think we saw a shark! We truly loved the trip, and will return. Thank you Captain, for making our voyage to sea, a memorable one indeed.

This is a must for boat-loving couples and small families! Captain Derek was phenomenal! We didn't have the best wind/weather, but Derek made every effort to catch some of the bay wind that day. I took my wife out for her 30th birthday, and we had a blast see the boat, navigating the bay and chatting with Captain D. Seriously, don't miss out on this experience.
