Custom made schooner, comfortable, though Captain will allow you to go and sit or stand anywhere on the boat. Captain and crew did an excellent job! We will be back with our grandkids! Parking is at a premium, suggest taking a water taxi or ferry from the mainland where there is more parking. Lots of traffic on the bridge going over.

We were so happy to read the 5 Star tripadvisor review of your experience out sailing with us! Thanks so much for the awesome input..., especially letting folks know the traffic is heavy. If passengers are not already on the island of Clearwater Beach you may want to think about parking in downtown Clearwater and taking the Clearwater Ferry over to the Marina. It will save much time, effort and it is another fun boat trip. :)))

My family did a private rental of this beautiful sail boat in September to celebrate our mom's birthday and parents anniversary. It was honestly the best experience we could have asked for!!
Maryellen was so easy to set things up by with! We had it privately catered through their recommended caterer and the food was wonderful. It was at sunset the waters were so smooth.. it was such a lovely celebration.
Captain Mark Tilly is super personable and knowledgeable... He is a skilled seaman who makes his guests feel comfortable.
We hope to go back again for another celebration!! Highly recommend a trip on the beautiful Schooner Clearwater.

I would highly recommend for sailors or non-sailors alike. Who wouldn't enjoy the opportunity to be out on the water, fresh air, wind blowing, experiencing the sunset on a magnificent sailboat?! A stable and safe boat, plenty of room, and reasonably priced. ( ...and maybe even spot some dolphins).

Great time, awesome sunset. Captain Mark and Kyle were very interactive with us and kept the ride fun the whole time. Captain built the boat himself we heard and loves doing this as a passion not just a job. Perfect setting and my BF proposed to me right at sunset.

We love sailing with Captain Mark and First Mate Zach (ticketed by Mary Ellen!) We try to go every few months (an easy drive from Orlando) and enjoy our trip: mark and Zach make sure everything is ship shape and safe. Last night’s sail was no exception: it was windy and fast and we saw dolphins escorting is in and out of the channel! The company is always fun: people from all over, and the scenery can’t be beat. Head over early- the traffic is unpredictable from On the route, and if you get there early, grab a snack and happy hour beverage at Salt Cracker Fish Camp! You’ll come off the boat relaxed and glad you did! We love this group of people and the experiences we share!

We used Schooner for the Burial at Sea for my mother. I cannot say enough about the kindness MaryEllen, Mark, and Zach showed our family. When just emailing and asking questions about details, MaryEllen was prompt and emailed back and then followed with a phone call. She was on top of the ball at all times.
The experience with Mark and Zach couldn't have been better. Mark shared some fabulous stories about the sea, was extremely knowledgable about sailing, and answered all of our questions as if we had been friends for years. The next day we then received an email with pictures Mark had taken of the send off and a Marine Chart marking the exact point of send off. This was such a sweet touch and truly brought tears to my eyes.
After our experience, we vow to book a charter with them every time we come down to Clearwater. I truly cannot say enough good things about the professionalism and kindness they all showed. Do not hesitate to book with them. I guarantee you will be so thrilled and walk away feeling as if you made friends for life.

We had a terrific time sailing the Clearwater area . Captain Mark and his Kyle were great hosts they provided lots of information and answered numerous questions about the boat, sea life, and points of interest . They provided ice for our own beverages and had complimentary sparkling water available . A highlight on our vacation to Florida beaches.

We had a great experience with Captain Mark and deck-mate Cory. They were the kind of people that I could hang out with all day! The Clearwater was an incredibly well maintained vessel; Mark takes a lot of pride in his custom schooner. We went on a midday cruise with an brisk easterly wind. The weather was perfect for the cruise! I'll definitely schedule another cruise next time I'm in Clearwater Beach!!

My family used Schooner Clearwater to scatter the ashes of our Mom. Although the weather can be less ideal for sailing in December they were open to targeting a specific date which was meaningful for us. Planning with them you could tell they really cared to make this a meaningful experience for us. On the day of we were welcomed like family at the dock and aboard the boat.
Captain Mark and the deckhand Cory were a great crew. They were friendly and had great stories to share. During the scattering they provided flowers and had a great process for us to use.
We couldn’t have been happier working with Schooner Clearwater.

You and your family were wonderful to work with knowing and accepting the possibility of inclement weather in December that may preclude us from sailing offshore to the federally designated area of internment. Interacting with Captain Mark and Cory. The entire two hour sailing experience was relaxing and enjoyable. It rates very highly and on a par with our sailing experiences in KeyWest, Charleston SC, Hilton Head, and Newport RI. We will be back when next in Clearwater.

It is a 2 hour cruise so if you wish to bring a beverage of your choice we provide a community ice bucket and plastic disposable cups.., even a corkscrew if you need it!

We allow ages 5 and over onboard for a true sailing experience. Swimming is not a prerequisite to enjoy our 52 foot sailing vessel;)
