Once you've seen Winter the dolphin the rest is minimal, This is really an animal rescue operation and there are many small exhibits showing informative facts but personally I'd rather spend my money at Sea World.

My wife and I visited CMA in November of 2015, on a Wednesday - crowds were pretty light I guess, based on what I'm reading in other reviews. We had no trouble seeing both Winter and Hope, and we watched them both swim in the...More

Our family visited the Clearwater Marine Aquarium on November 2. We had won our admission and a meet and greet with one of the dolphins, which ended up being Hope. The entire complex is interactive and fun for the family. You get to see people...More

thought it was nice but went thru it a lot faster than I expected. Cool seeing winter and hope. Nice volunteers and employees, Groupon price made it worthwhile.

OK, so it's not SeaWorld but if you're fans of the Dolphin Tale movies you won't be disappointed to see Winter, Hope and Nicholas, who all appeared in the movie, along with Ricky the pelican. This is a non-profit making organisation who do an amazing...More

... But sadly it wasn't. Winter and the story of the CMA is truly inspirational. My kids, wife and I have seen the movies and were truly hoping that it would be more than it was. We were disappointed. The lower level with underwater viewing...More

Very neat to see how well the animals are taken care of and learn about their mission. Not a typical aquarium but very educational. I really enjoyed being able to see the extra site with movie props and we were able to learn more about...More

It can be a disapointment, if you have seen the Dolphin Tale movie. The outside of the aquarium is just the same, but the inside is mainly different. We have seen Hope, but Winter was having a nap or something. The children liked the climbing...More

Had a wonderful visit to the CMA - fulfilled a dream for my 8 year old to see Winter and Hope - this is a smaller venue which I find to be a perk. I would visit here again!

We just spent 4 hours at this attraction, my wife and 2 eight year olds, and they had to kick us out at the end of the day. All I can say about the staff and the hands on, interactive attractions is, "WOW". The staff...More

Just wondering what I should be looking for to make my granddaughters experience a good one? We've traveled from Ct to visit my brother but her main thing for coming to Florida for sometime was to see Winter, we've watched the movie so many times, I love it just as much as her, she's 4 and we'll be visiting the Marina on Mothers Day with her great grandmother, her great uncle and uncle, my son coming in from Texas, I'm looking forward to it for my granddaughter.

Perfect. The movie is key to set expectations. Winter doesn't do much but you can feed Hope and get a picture with her. Bring extra money for toys, spend quality time there because they have other things on the schedule that... More

Would you recommend a kayak tour or a Dolphin Adventure Boat Tour?

The dolphin adventure boat tour is a pontoon boat ride. You may see some dolphin fins and jumping at a distance. If you take the little toot dolphin experience that boat goes faster (and is cute) and the dolphins actually... More

I have kids ages 7, 11, and 12 who all are very interested in animal rescue and marine life. I'm wanting to buy tickets for a visit on a Monday in April and am trying to pick the best combo. Is the behind the scenes worthwhile? They will really want to see the hospital. Also which boat tour is the best? There's Dolphin Adventure and Sea Life Safari.

I would recommend the dolphin cruise. The other boat ride I feel is for younger children. Definitely visit the hospital at the marina .. so much to learn and see. I would spring for the extra cost to be able to feed and... More
