Cool aquarium!

We did the trainer for the day program and LOVED it! Staff was excellent, very fun and unique way to interact with and learn about the animals. Anyone that gives this place low ratings does not understand their mission - they are not an aquarium in comparison with others. Rescue, Rehab and Release and they do this very well. Our... More

Although there aren't too many animals there (its more of a rehab than a typical aquarium), it was still a great place! The tickets are around $20 per adult, which is a little pricey for what it was, but it was great to see winter and hope!!! If you are in Clearwater, I think its worth a trip to see!... More

Love this place and all the education it offers. No 'shows' only presentations which I like. However I am very upset about all the plastic, made in China, 'will end up back in the ocean to harm the very animals you're helping' novelty junk for purchase. Please do better on this. I will not be purchasing anything, and my $25... More

Enjoyed the presentation about the different sea animals. Inexpensive for the whole family to visit.

The facility is currently undergoing restoration/reconstruction, so it's rather messy. Some obvious areas are in dire need of restoration. We just enjoyed watching Hope and Winter. They are the most beautiful dolphins. We watched for a while from both topside and the underwater viewing. They have tons of sea turtles that are injured or impaired as they are foremost a... More

I have been asking my husband to take me to this aquarium every time we come here for the past 7 years. It's not so much an aquarium as it is a hospital for sea animals. A lot of the exhibits were empty. We went later in the day, and there was barely any activities. I feel like it's because... More

We decided to check out the place, despite the mixed reviews. We wound up being pretty disappointed in the place. The main attraction is Winter the dolphin from the Winter's Tale movies, but you really don't have any chance of seeing him. While some of the staff were friendly, a number just weren't. Add to this the fact that every... More

My mother and I just visited and we had a wonderful time! She wanted to see Winter so bad though we had never seen the movie "Dolphin Tale". My mother uses a wheelchair and we didn't have any problems getting around. At some points it was a little hard for her to see because of the fencing but that is... More

My 8yo son and his friend love Dolphin Tale and they were so excited to finally "meet" them. The downstairs viewing area gave them a chance to get nose to nose with Hope. They enjoyed getting to see a veterinary procedure and also learn about some of the other animals at the facility. We did NOT think the visit to... More

We went as a family including our 5 grandchildren ages 12-3 and had a wonderful time. The talks by the staff are very educational and fun. Many "hands-on" fun for the children.
