- Daydream247057436552 contributionsJungle Adventures is place to see a variety of wildlife at an affordable priceKnowledgeable and friendly staff that care very much for the animals, reptiles, and sharing the history of this area. A place one could spend 2-3 hours at an affordable price. Enjoyed walking the boardwalk observing Alligators on all sides of me. - Rebecca S4 contributionsWOW! Really amazing experience! The first impression is: “This is an older park, and a little run down. But once you get going: WOW!!! DO NOT PASS UP THIS ATTRACTION !!!!!!❤️😊❤️ The animals seem content and well fed. The enclosures appear comfortable, and very clean with fresh bedding. The boat ride was great. The swamp was very authentic. The interactive talks were nicely done. The tour guide is awesome! So funny, very knowledgeable, great with kids, and he did an amazing job with the adult with intellectual disabilities that we brought. He was encouraging with everyone as he was trying to get them to interact with the animals, but letting it go if someone was not comfortable. He appeared to treat the animals as individuals with separate personalities, calling them by name as he fed and gently handled them! It was well worth the ticket price!!!!Visited April 2024Traveled with familyWritten April 29, 2024
- Katie DKillen, Alabama15 contributionsWonderful little adventureWe were looking for something to do and decided to try this. We spent about 3 hours walking around and listening to the presentations. We got to hold a baby gator, snake, and hedgehog. They had a display about the natives and how they used alligator for survival. We got to watch them feed the gators and go on a little boat ride. They also had lots of alligators to see. They have a long winding pier where we could walk and look for alligators. They had a few other animals too. It was a great half day adventure.Visited June 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten June 7, 2024
- Lisa STitusville, Florida71 contributionsFun afternoon with the GatorsWe have been to the park many times over the years and have enjoyed it each time. This time Reptile Ryan was awesome!! He conveyed his knowledge in a fun way. Must visit if you are in the area and need something fun to do for a few hours. Daisy Boy was a favorite and as Ryan pointed out he is a boy!Visited September 2024Traveled with familyWritten September 24, 2024
- PeteDaytona Beach, Florida459 contributionsThe real DealJungle Adventures is the real deal. If you are looking for a Disney like place this is not it. If you are looking for animals in their natural environment this, is it. The guides are very knowledgeable and really care for the animals. With our senior discount buying online we got in for about $20 each, which is a bargain. We learned so much about the animals in their natural habitat. We got to hold a baby alligator and snakes. At the end we took a boat ride through the swamp. they have a neat little gift shopVisited September 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten September 26, 2024

We watched them feed the alligators, who jumped out of the water, even though it was cold & they weren't sure the alligators would jump. The guide gave an interesting talk about an alligator, python, skunk & tarantula. She was patient about letting everyone, who wished to, pet &/or hold the animals & answered a lot of questions. We took a boat ride & saw native vegetation & animals in their natural habitat. When we were finished, we walked around & saw a variety of birds & animals (some native & some not native). We saw tools used by the Native people.

This is old time Florida at it's best. The gators are in the wild, in a duckweed-filled, sulfur-water smelling, natural swamp, just like you would see them in the wild. There are other animals here as well, ranging from a Florida black bear, to a Florida panther, to more exotic animals like ring-tailed lemurs and a variety of snakes. My biggest complaint is that most of the animals could use larger enclosures. The animals do appear to be well tended, and the employees clearly love them and enjoy their jobs.
If you are lucky enough to be there shortly after opening on a weekday, you may have the park to yourself for an hour or so, as I did. Talk about personalized service!
The admission price is a bit steep, but they do need money to care for the animals. If you have a Florida HIA card, admission is free for you, and 50% discount for up to 4 guests.
It's worth a visit, and was a pleasant way to spend 3 hours.

This is rated #9 of things to do in Holiday, but should be #9 in things to do in Florida. My wife and I saw this on the way home, and stopped in to see what was offered. A self-guided tour to see the animals, in what was there own personal habitat. They also provided shows in which they fed gators, bears, and showed off a small array of animals that they let you hold. They gave a brief history of Florida’s Native Americans, and was very informative. It was an up close encounter with wildlife, and a true nature of Florida’s swamps. Every Floridian needs to do experience this.

This place is awesome! It is a small zoo with many cool animals and also has at least 150 alligators and they were everywhere! My husband and I got to hold a baby alligator, a parrot and a snake. The young lady who took us around the zoo was the best! She made us feel very comfortable holding the animals and she knew so much about all of the animals including their names! I highly recommend this place! Give yourself at least 3 hours here. We went at about 3:30 in the afternoon and it closes at 5;30. We got to see all of the animals but I could have stayed much longer.

A wonderful place for your whole family!
If you love the beautiful natural scenery of florida, but don’t want to walk aimlessly through uncharted territory than this is the place to go!
It has all the real feel of old florida with the added beauty of education from handlers who dedicate their lives to the animals on the property.
You can see that they work hard and are salt of the earth people who take their time to teach, talk, and share their passion with you.
My favorite part of the whole experience is that you get that one on one time with the animal educators and ambassadors, unlike at large big name parks.
They really go out of their way to make it and immersive and beautiful experience. As for the animals, they all have a back story this isn’t your average “paid for the animals on the property zoo” they work hand in hand with local wildlife officers to give homes to the unwanted, abandoned, and illegal pets we see far too often in this state.
Your dollar actually matters here, you can see as they grow, the park grows. Being a smaller park they may not have all the new, the shiny, the big, but they have the heart. Each animal educator knows each animal in a way I know my dogs and cats at home. They see them everyday and love them everyday! Even those who may not be in enclosures and tend to the customers in the gift shop still have a love for the animals ALL throughout the park.
I left here wanting more and raving about the work that the staff does to keep everything and everyone happy, healthy, and in line.
Please take time to support this beautiful place and the people who run it!
You may say “wow that’s a small park” but the more times you walk around the board walk the more things you see, the more times you pass the animals in their habitats the more quirky personalities you see!
I must say, I feel hard and fast for the Coyotes and the wolves! And Boris the old man bear, bless his soul 🥺 to be able to live such a LONG life because of the care he’s received, it’s honestly such a beautiful thing to see!
If you’ve made it this far and haven’t bought a ticket to tour the park...well.. WHAT ARE YOU DOING!? 🐊🐾💚

If you want to visit an attraction off the beaten path, then Jungle Adventures is for you. We arrived right when the place opened and were greeted warmly. Lori gave us a personal tour, because we were the only ones there early. Lori was informative, humorous and let us hold a baby alligator, snake and even a tarantula! We got to see a rare skunk that was not black and white, but cinnamon colored. We enjoyed seeing all the animals, especially the Florida panther. We also went on the jungle cruise and saw many alligators. As a special treat, a swamp rat jumped on the boat and ran towards me and then jumped off the boat again. It was awesome! We had a great time!

This is a hardscrabble 1960’s roadside attraction. The animals seem well cared for and content in more than adequate enclosures. It ain’t the San Diego Zoo after all. The “do it all” tour guide fed the gators, drove the boat and gave the show presentations. She was knowledgeable and a bit abrasive but that just fit the place perfectly. That is duckweed in the swamp not algae. It is a perfect medium for the gators to thrive in. I know more about gators and Native Americans than I did before. Beware of the sulphur water smell. It is strong in the front of the park but backs off as you move along. Be sure to check out the wolf hybrid mom and son!

Boris the bear and cougars Venus and Apollo are cooped up in small enclosures with cars zipong past on the highway just a few hundred yards away from Boris’ cage. Boris seems to spend his days waiting for whatever food people drop to him in his small, barren enclosure. Boris, Venus, and Apollo are living on unyielding concrete, which can be bad for their skeletal system, plus can cause muscle strain and pressure sores, especially for geriatric animals such as these. Seeing wild animals boxed up like they are here makes me sad. I wish this place would send them to sanctuary and focus on other forms of entertainment.

I've been to quite a few places with similar descriptions but nothing has been quite like this. Our ten and seven year old kids could have stayed all day. Holding baby alligators and snakes was amazing. And then feeding all the animals, baby alligators, monkeys, deer, lemurs. Out guide was very informed and a cool dude. Watching him feed the big guys was a real treat. Funnier still was all their names and individual stories, and how much they are all like a big family with the staff. The boat ride around the property was nice and peaceful, while being surrounded by huge retiles. Worth the drive from Orlando. Glad it wasn't a big commercial operation with fanfare. This is an up and close authentic backcountry Florida experience.

Are masks mandatory here? I read some scathing reviews on Groupon trashing this poor place. It’s small and people seem to not be giving it a chance? Is this worth $35 for two to visit coming from Orlando? We are 30s just a couple so we appreciate some old school stuff.
Written October 21, 2020
Orange County is still mandating that masks be worn while in the park. Your admission covers a 2 hour guided tour that includes our wildlife encounter, Native American/old Florida village presentation, our gator feeding and a zoo talk (substituted for jungle swamp cruise due to physical distancing requirements).
If you are look for something slower than the big parks, lot's of fresh air and a glimpse at what Florida used to be like, then yes, it is worth the $35 for two admissions.

How many restrooms are available? We have younger children with frequent bathroom trips.

There’s one at the entrance but don’t remember any other ones .!It is however not a long walk to the entrance from most places in the park

How long are the guided tours and how often do they start?
Written March 15, 2018
Our guided tours are about 2 hours long, afterward, you can wander at your leisure and check out the animals we have on exhibit.
The 1st rotation starts at 10 am. We will start your tour at the next closest activity time to your arrival. You should not wait more than 45 minutes for any program here at the park. We do ask that if you plan to arrive later in the day, you arrive before 3 pm for the last rotation of the day.

Hi. I am mobility challenged and require a scooter to get around. After reading all of the posts, I am concerned that your "old Florida" atmosphere may not be appropriate for my mode of transportation. Should I skip this venue or will my scooter be OK ?
Written March 21, 2017
Your scooter will be fine on most of the concrete and boardwalk areas. Going over the bridge to the Native American/Old Florida Village may be a bit of a challenge, however we should have staff available to assist with that. The docks to the Jungle Swamp Cruise require you to walk about 10 steps to reach the boat.
