Yes,I had a hole in one on 18th.This great golf course is 68 years old. Situated in a very peaceful and beautiful wild like setting. Lots of trees and water. Plenty of birds and small animals. Playing here feels like you own the place. The driving range has many different variety of polishing your golf skills. Staff very friendly .The little bar will grill your perfect burger and driving service cart will deliver the big variety of refreshment, You go with your pace and enjoy the game. For the price you can't find anything to match. Gotta love it.

The price was very reasonable, but the greens were a little rough and some of the holes played pretty straight with little in the way of challenging obstacles.

My husband and I love this neighborhood course. It's perfect for casual and beginner level golfers, as well as those with lower handicaps. It can get waterlogged after a rain, so it's better to experience in the drier months. It's no Bay Hill but reasonably priced, fun and ideal for practice. They also have a driving range and chipping green to hone your skills. Some people walk, but most use golf carts. Definitely worth a try, especially if you live in the Casselberry area.

Not a great start to the round. Booked on golf now with a pre paid tee time. Checked in at the pro shop, " you are pre paid, you can go". I had to ask about getting a cart and where to go. He said, " help yourself to a cart and head down the road. " A friendly welcome costs nothing and would have been a better start.
I get a cart but no keys. Turns out the keys were in a basket in the pro shop. First cart returned as the brake would not work. The carts were old, slow, gas and not in great shape. No gps, no coolers or ice.
No signage for which way to go and had to ask someone else where the first tee was. No starter and a line ip on the tee.
The course is not in great shape. It is quite scenic, with lots of water. Pins looked like they were 3 or 4 days old, with dead, dried out grass around the holes and greens which seemed to be cut to more like fairway length. Bumpy and slow.
The back tee was 5165 yards and it looked like a real stretch to get to that yardage. A number of the tees were pushed back to the limit of the land and felt like you were hitting down a few narrow corridors.
Super disappointed, as this was the last round of our vacation and we dearly wished we had played our last round on a better track.
Pace of play was very slow. Rates were inexpensive , but after a 40 minute drive and we walked off after 9 holes, definitely not worth the time and money.

To be honest this course gets some unjust poor reviews..
Bay Hill, Victoria Hills, Red Tail it is not but what do you expect for the price?
Even though off the orange tees this is a little over 5000yards this is no walkover.certainly on the front nine always all tee shots are quite tight and leave you thinking about where to leave your tee shot..the greens are well protected and very small, some are barely a postage stamp, so combine the small greens and tight fairways this is a challenge for the average golfer, you need to hit it straight..
If you aren’t willing to pay $50+ for a round or can’t get a sensible tee time elsewhere I’d recommend coming here...

We played here about a year ago, and it was in bad shape. We went back today because it was the only reasonably priced golf we could find and I'm glad we did. The course was in much better shape. They have obviously been working on it. Well worth the $11 a person we spent.

Casselberry Golf Club was around when I lived in Winter Park in the '60's, so its been 60 yrs. since my last visit. Its still inexpensive not well maintained, but its a golf course. The mayor back then was Owen Ansty, his other job was my local guy for P.R.Mallory & Co.

This club is very beautiful but it kind of stops there. The course was in very bad shape and not will maintained. Dry and sand every where not a great course. It is fine if you and some friends just want to friendly play. If you are a person who take your game more serious this place is not for you and not worth the money. Our golf cart also ran out of gas.
