We likes this little park so much we went out of our way to visit again later in our FL trip. Only negative was all the road construction getting there. The park is a nice out-of-the-way place to relax and enjoy the water and the activity in the area.

Sirenia Vista Park is set up for manatee watching during the winter months. It has informative placards describing the manatees as well as a large fishing platform. There is also a kayak launching ramp. The park is new, so the trees are still small, so be prepared with hats and sunglasses. The park is well worth a trip.

My son had a fishing tournament and don’t have a boat, Cape Coral does not have a ton of parks where you can fish in salt/fresh water. To residents that have been here a long time remember this where the locks to get out to open water. The city did a nice job cleaning this area up making it a great place to walk with the family(dog) with nice young trees and plants that should grow into a beautiful mature park. There is an area to fish but we saw only one other person fishing from the park. The best thing in my opinion is there is a kayak launch. It was made for only kayaks and canoes. There were probably about six to eight people using the launch but it was not busy or crowded with people. The city is doing work in the area adding Utilities and have the road torn up and it will most like be this way for many months. This may seem like a bad thing but use this chance to get out there with few people and enjoy the natural beauty and maybe a few like minded people. This is the place if you need a place to get the kayak in the water and enjoy the birds, fish, and I was three Manatee’s, one that was very small and the other two were good size. I saw them separate and throughout the day. Speaking with a regular park goer he said he said that he regularly sees them. June is not the best time to see them they are resident ones. I will say that if you go please help keep the park looking good. I fished and cleaned up anything I used as not to leave anything, but even if you are just walking please pick any trash fishing line cups or anything else. Great park and a rare win for the city. If you are a kayaker find this place.

I have lived on that canal system for many years in the past. I can tell all who want to see Manatees, come around 6 to 7 am to see them go out into the gulf and come back around 6-8 pm in the evening when they come back in the warm waters at night .
Their schedule is kind of like having a job! In a rain storm one late afternoon (around 4:30) I saw over 100 with babies. They had their backs to the surface almost as if they were getting a bak rub or stratch. Perhaps they like the rain?

The park is very small and quiet. The park is kinda out of the way of all tourists. We did see a couple Manatees. Nice small walk around the park (cement).

A lovely neighborhood park. We had to drive 20 minutes from Northeast Cape Coral but I wanted to check it out. It's a lovely short walk fully paved and would accommodate strollers or wheelchairs. There were a few people fishing at one end, no luck that day. It was a lovely morning cool but with a hot sun so of course the weather was perfect. There is a lot of construction still on what looks like utilities so it was not busy. There were locals taking walks and enjoying the weather. It doesn't take a lot of time if you just want a quick outing from 30 minutes to an hour.

This is a lovely little park to wander around. There is a circular path around the park, along the canals, with viewing platforms and lots of information boards about the manatees. The park is very well maintained and nicely set out with a large covered seating area, Osprey nesting pole (Complete with Osprey chicks that were visible from the ground when I visited.) and a lovely bookcase with childrens books for children to be able to sit and read in the park. I didn't see any Manatees on either of my visits to the park but both visits were on hot days and it seems I was there too late in the day as according to other people in the park the manatees had been there earlier in the morning. Despite this I really enjoyed my time in the park and saw lots of other wildlife in and around the water.

Excellent and Close-in park. We went with an excellent guide, Dominick Greco of Kayak Charters. Nearly a perfect day with glorious weather, wind and tide from the open channel to the bay.
We saw a very large manatee before we got into the kayaks; it was the most enormous one that I had ever seen.
The mangrove swamps were quiet, calm water, filled with fish. And so easy. Our guide was so good: knowledgeable, kind, and very experienced. It made it better to have someone showing us what to look for, how things worked to maintain the eco system.
The only negative was as we returned and could hear loud music from a riverside restaurant.
Visit and take a guide. It’s the best.

We came here on a chilly morning hoping to see manatees. We walked around the nice concrete walkways and stopped at the many concrete outlooks but did not see any, then as we were leaving spotted a group in a canal behind the houses. We counted at least six and they stayed in the same spot for about ten minutes, we were able record a nice video. A local said they tend to gather in that spot, so look at the end of the canal between the park and the houses. You will need to look online for directions, it is hidden in a residential community.

We went here not even realising you could see manatee here. It was not long into the start of the season for manatee to come into the warmer waters but we weren't disappointed. Saw lots of them about an hour before dusk. Also osprey and a large tarpon come out of the water. Been to the manatee park by the power station before but much prefer this park. Parking is free. Plenty of seats.
