I am a local resident who needed a cable repair for a knee walker. Knee walker brake cables are akin to bicycle cables. My local bike store on the mainland was not open at the time I stopped by. I called a couple of other stores, one of which referred my service to a medical supply store. The medical supply store did not have a technician on duty at the time (after 4:00 PM), which was likely my fault due to the time of day. So I gave A1A Outdoors a call. A very nice lady answered the phone and said she would check with her bicycle tech. She returned to the call and said, yes we can fix that today if you make it here before closing time (5:00 pm). The technician got me back in service and made sure I was assisted down the ramp at the store. I one-hundred percent recommend this business for quality of service.

Very friendly staff - helpful - wanted to make sure we got what we needed. The shop had a great variety of beach chairs, etc. for rent - we were staying at a nearby hotel and wanted items for a day at the beach. Easy pick up and return.

We were finishing a Norwegian cruse with a couple from our church and had time on our hands before our flight. We rented bike and had a great time due to the staff (Amender) she was awesome. She was very pleasant to work with. I would highly recommend A1A beach rentals to anyone who wants to have a good time. Thanks again for making our stay pleasant. Felix Adame, Michigan

We had a terrific day on electric bikes with our guide, David, who showed us all around and shared his incredible knowledge of the environment and wildlife and culture of the Cape Canaveral/Cocoa Beach area. In addition, he was very patient with those of our group that had not used e-bikes before and explained their operation thoroughly. We highly recommend this tour!

The two ladies were so friendly and helped us load the beach chairs. It also came with a cart which also turned into a table. Easy set up. Excellent price. Had until 9:00pm to return equipment. The only bad thing that happened was that it was a cloudy windy day so we didn’t keep it until 9:00. We pulled in at about 2 minutes to 5:00 and was going to put it where they told us to. The ladies came out looking frustrated with us. We thanked them for the rentals and she said well we are trying to leave for the day but now we can’t. (So sorry for the inconvenience I have caused you). That was a bit disappointing because they were so nice and helpful in the morning. Overall I would rent from them again but take everything back after they were closed.

Ordered some gear and 30 min later and great gear. Called them and less than 30 min later they were there to retrieve the gear. Dave delivered and picked up. He was amazing and very nice and knowledgeable. Great customer service. Will definitely use them and their services next year when I return!

This was our first visit to A1A. Staff incredibly friendly and helpful. They let us try out a few different bikes before we rented and helped assemble a child trailer on one of them. They rent way more than bikes here but that was what we needed. I think the price is a little steep for a weekly rental but they delivered and picked up the backs from our condo. Super nice and helpful. The bikes were comfortable and in perfect working order. Definitely recommend.

There are lots of large retail and rental outlets in Cocoa Beach, but A1A was a better experience. I found better prices and service at A1A rentals than any other I called. They have everything you could need for a fun stay, like a rolling table and beach chair kit, and a high-end road bike that any cyclist would love. They deliver, and the staff are all extremely helpful.

This is definitely the place to rent bikes, kayaks and other adventures. Shane is interested in accommodating your rental needs. The bikes we rented were great, but the awesome part was the free delivery and pickup. They have short and long term rentals. I can’t say enough about her enthusiasm to make your experience exciting.

Highly recommend this tour! Guide was very professional and knowledgeable for this unique experience. The water was calm and glowing and you could see fish darting everywhere...one that you must experience for yourself!!! My daughters loved it and we all would definitely do it again!

Hi, Could you tell me more about the pontoon rentals? Where do you take the boats - on the ocean or inter-coastal? Are there groups of islands to go between?

Hi, we have boat rentals. They are kept at a nearby marina and ready to go daily. Multiple pontoons, deckboats, and fishing skiffs. Rates start at $219 for 3hrs, fuel included. From our marina you can go anywhere in the lagoon including islands, manatee and dolphin viewing areas, waterfront restaurants and more. Rental boats are not permitted through the port canaveral locks or into the ocean. All boat rentals must be booked in advance and require a 10% deposit. Operators must exhibit boating knowledge and have experience and be over 28 yrs of age. Or, you may take a boater's safety course at the marina which takes about 30 minutes of your time.
