    Not enjoyable this time.
We went on January 27th after being invited for a VIP event. We paid a certain amount but received double onboard free play plus a lunch of mahi-mahi and steak, which was good. However, they packed so many people on the ship that we really didn't enjoy ourselves. You could barely find a machine to play on because there were so many people. It really was annoying and disappointing, plus the slot payouts seemed much lower than every other time we have gone.
Thank you for joining us for our Guest Appreciation VIP Cruise on January 27th. This was a special event for our invited guests that we came up with to say THANK YOU for sailing with us and for your business in the past. I am sorry to hear that you did not have a good time due to the crowd. We sailed with just over 600 passengers on our morning cruise and our capacity is 1,400. While it was busier than normal, we sailed with less than half capacity. On this special day, we offered 5X points on the slots all day, the special meal was included, we had a top shelf open bar and 25 raffle winners won $1,000 in Free Play or Match Play for the tables. There were lots of great reasons to join us on this specific cruise. This was all done as our way of saying thank you to our special guests. We had over 20 Jackpot Winners on the morning cruise alone, which is more than normal, so, I am sure they wouldn't say the payouts weren't great. I am sorry to hear that you didn't have a great time, as we put a lot of effort into this day. Thank you for the positive feedback on your meal. I will be sure to pass that along to our Food and Beverage team. We do appreciate you joining us, as you were an invited guest, we do very much appreciate your business and I always appreciate everyone's feedback. We hope to see you again on another cruise that isn't as busy.

    The Ice Box Casino Cruise
Overall, wife and I had a great time. Food was great no complaints. Not too many people on board however a strong smell of weed on the outside lounge kind of took away from the trip. Also, the inside was an ICEBOX the boat A/C was pumping, it was so cold on the boat I couldn't play like I wanted too. If I decide to return it will definitely be middle of summer.
Thank you for joining us and for taking the time to leave us a review. It has been very chilly lately and that does cause the ship to be colder than normal. We do have a manager on duty who should have been able to turn the air down if it was too cold for our guests. Please let them know next time so we can make it more comfortable for you. Sometimes, certain sections of the ship are cooler than others. We are sorry that took away from your experience. Our Florida winter typically only lasts for a few weeks, it is already warming up, so that shouldn't be an issue much longer. We'd love to have you come back and join us on a warmer day. Thank you again for joining us. Have a great day.

Nice cruise on a beautiful day!
Arrived at the dock with a few friends on a beautiful morning not knowing quite what to expect since this was my first casino cruise. Staff was pleasant and very helpful. The ship is kind of raggedy looking but not horrible. We had a bite to eat and was happy with the meal. Staff onboard were very helpful and pleasant. I played the slots for a while and came out $30 ahead. The boat wasn’t very crowded so we had a good choice of machines and not a lot of competition! My favorite part of the cruise was just grabbing a chair outside and enjoying the scenery and beautiful day! A good value IMO! Not a luxury cruise by any means but we had a great time!
Thank you so much for spending your day with us and for your review. We appreciate you and would love to see you again sometime soon. Have a great day.

    Boatload of Fun
First time aboard Victory had a fun time and a upbeat vibe we were so looking for. We had a large group and wanted to pass the time. Many games to choose from. A few friends are not gamblers but just enjoyed strolling on the deck in the beautiful Florida Sun.
Thank you so much for joining us for a cruise and for your 5 star review. We appreciate you so much and hope to see you again real soon. Have a great day.

Fun time, just know what to expect
I booked this casino cruise for my wife for Mother’s Day. Myself, wife and 2 grown children went. It was fun and the vibe was great in the casino. We won and lost but overall did well. What to expect is the following: Parking was free, checkin was quick, on the ship slots were open. After Sailaway, drinks are free while gambling, although there are only a few servers so it takes 10-15 min sometimes to get a drink. Lunch line was 100 people long at first, then died down. Lunch is at least $15 and sub par at best. Top deck has a small hang out area and bar, beers are $8ea. We had 2 free drink tickets each through Groupon, so we were Okay with not buying extra. Cruise came back on time and getting off took about 10 min. Overall a great time just know what to expect. Fun gambling, eh food, but 4 out of 5 because we had fun.
Thank you so much for joining us and for celebrating your wife on Mother's Day, we think that's awesome. We also appreciate you taking the time to write this review. We are so glad that you had a fun time. For anyone wanting to save a few dollars on the cruise and drinks, we do have many packages, such as using promo code (FB1) when you book on our website, that do include drink tickets as well. We do have 4 beers on draft on our outside deck and they are only $6.00 if you didn't want to get a bottle of beer. That is outside of the free drinks while gaming. Thank you again for sailing with us. Please wish your wife happy Mother's Day from all of us here at Victory. We appreciate you and hope to see you again sometime. Have a great day.

I cannot recommend going on this casino cruise - sorry Victory! Check in went smoothly though not very happy pleasant staff. The ship is older but clean. There was plenty of parking spaces and free parking. Just a short walk from parking lot to check in. We took a Sunday afternoon trip. As far as slot machines most are older machines with a smaller section of newer games. It was hard to get on a machine because of the limited selection. Most people want to play the newer games. I ended up walking around a lot trying to find a game to play. The tables are located on the lower deck. We did not eat the buffet, but heard it was good and you needed to eat as soon as you get on the boat because they close it quickly. The weather was not bad just overcast that day. I have never seen so many sick people in one place. All the sick people was seating on the upper deck outside. Two of the people in my party was sick the whole trip. They say the boat has stabilizers, but I don't see how. Even the employee said the boat does not. The limited staff on the upper deck was good about giving people motion sickness bracelet's (you have to pay for it), crackers, water. Once you are on the boat it is a 6 hour trip, so people were very anxious and ready to get off. One lady said she has been on several vacation cruises, but this was the first time she got motion sickness. Entertainment was very limited, one man playing on the upper deck. You have about a 30 minute wait before you can begin gambling, most people eat, sit outside or they grab their machine. I did not see or hear of anyone winning at all. I know we did not win at all and we played numerous slots. Even with all the sick people the bathrooms were maintained. It was not a enjoyable trip and I do not expect to go back.

Thank you for sailing with us. We appreciate you mentioning that your check-in went smoothly, and you found our complimentary parking convenient. However, we're sorry to read you had so many issues during your cruise with us and we would have loved to address these issues while you were still on our ship. Our ship is equipped with stabilizers, and we're sorry your friends suffered from motion sickness during your trip, the sea conditions are posted daily on our website and Facebook page so that our guests have this information before deciding to sail. We have over 600 slot machines on our ship, and we offer the latest machines and newer style machines are brought onto our ship regularly. However, many of our customers prefer the classic-style machines, and we regret that you were not able to find a machine to your liking. If there is a specific machine you were searching for we would be happy to pass your request onto our Slots Department. We do have a Manager on duty onboard during every sail, so we would have loved to have had the opportunity to help make your trip better while you were still sailing with us. If you do decide to sail with us again, our daily entertainment is posted daily on our website or Facebook page and you will see we have lots of exciting entertainment coming to our ship!

Had a great time on the New Years Eve cruise but way too crowded! Maybe 400 less people would have been perfect . You couldn’t even find a slot machine open, you would have to stand behind people and wait. Some would have someone save their spot while the other person went to ATM to take out more money (that shouldn’t be allowed) . The craps table was a joke, one woman just being ignorant wanting to show her not so nice boobs and the rest just really drunk. The bathrooms were also very disgusting , like literally poop all over the toilets . The buffet was good (well the steak anyways - very tender) . But it was confusing as you couldn’t go up twice for more food? so spending $30 for 1 small plate of mediocre food was a little disappointing.

My biggest issue was the guy at the front door for the sign in, he was very ignorant and rude to me . He is what you would call a male chauvinist . He checked my I’D and then proceeded to tell me I needed to check in. I told him 5 times I am already checked in and on the list. But he continued to say “oh no sweety, you are not on the list” . So I turned to the other girls working the list, and I said I am on the list right? And they go yes ma’am . So I turn to him and say see I am on the list . He just shakes his head at me and walks away. That man should not be working here if he wants to treat people this way and try and make them upset

On behalf of the management of Victory Casino Cruises, I would like to thank you for joining us on New Year's Eve for our special celebration. You said you had a “great time”. That is why we were surprised you gave us only one star. This is our 8th year celebrating NYE and it is always a huge success. We were not overbooked that night. Based on our activities level on board the Victory I, we have a gaming position for every guest, even at full capacity. With over 600 slot machines on board, we apologize that you could not find one you liked to play. We do allow people to hold their machine to go to the ATM. All casinos do that. If the guest were to be gone for an extended period of time, then we would not allow the machine to be saved. We are a casino and you will see people having fun more often than not. We apologize that you were offended by other players at the craps table. We are happy that you enjoyed dinner as well. Our buffet is set up full service style. That means we will assist you with your selections and a member of our wait staff will get you additional helpings, if requested. The staff is instructed to fill up your plate to the amount you request. We have always done it this way and our guests love it. Serving meals that way keeps things sanitary and you never have to stand in line twice. We never want our guests to walk away hungry. Regarding the bathrooms, we apologize for what you may have seen. With so many managers on board, the bathrooms were checked quite often all night. None of our managers reported anything like you describe, so, it is likely that it was cleaned up right away. Unfortunately, we can’t control that type of thing. However, we do stay on top of the bathrooms to make sure no guests experience what you saw. There are signs posted in the bathrooms asking our guests to let us know when something needs attention. We hope you took the opportunity to let someone know about what you experienced. We apologize that our Security staff upset you and we will investigate further as to who that was. That is not the Victory way and we will make sure it doesn’t happen again. If you change your mind and decide to sail with us again and run into anything that is less than the best quality, please ask to speak to the manager on duty. There is a manager on duty every cruise to ensure each guest is completely satisfied with their visit. Thank you.

This was our first trip on the Victory so we really didn't know what to expect. We loved it! To begin, we were staying in Canaveral so we drove and parked in the free parking lot near the ship. We made our reservations online and each paid the $20 boarding fee. The check in process was smooth. My husband even received a refund on his boarding fee because it was his birthday month. Yay! Unfortunately, that was about our only win. He did a little better on the slots than me. Until we got out to sea, the slots were turned off. However, around 11:30 they came on and back off around 3:30, so you have four solid hours to spend your money like it's monopoly money.😁 The Cafe on the first floor was pretty good. The service throughout the ship was very good. The cocktail waitresses did a good job of keeping up with the free drinks. Yes, they are served in very small plastic cups, but, hey it's free. Be sure to sign up for your Player's Card on Deck 3. Check out Deck 4, this is where you can go outside have a seat, enjoy some live music, have a drink and not lose any money and just enjoy seeing the ocean. Or, just throw your money overboard and not lose it gambling. Either way, it's a fun time and we really enjoyed ourselves.

Unfortunately for us, on January 18th, Mother Nature had other plans for our voyage by gifting us super duper choppy waves. Let me tell you, that ship was a rockin’ and a rollin’. People were getting sick and laying flat on the floor, on benches or placing their heads down on tables. Even I was getting nauseous and had to go to the top deck, for a while, to get fresh air. My husband said I turned a lighter shade of pale.

I’m sure we would’ve had a better time had it not been for the darn waves. We also saved money since we weren’t gambling while I recouped. Oh well, we did see some pelicans, other birds, and a dolphin! Take a jacket during the cooler months because it does get cool on deck and some indoor areas are like an icebox. There’s fun, live entertainment on the top deck.

On behalf of everyone at Victory, I would like to thank you for joining us on the 18th. Seas were of a higher level that day. We appreciate your upbeat response to Mother Nature and the fact that you still found a way to enjoy yourself. We are so sorry to hear you didn't get to enjoy the full cruise, due to weather. We hope you give us another try in the future, when the seas are minimal. Thanks for the nice review.

I just spent the afternoon on the Victory casino boat out of Port Canaveral. I enjoyed a front row seat to see the SpaceX launch. Always a good time onboard. Good food offerings in the sports bar or the dining lounge coupled with gambling while playing my choice of all the latest table and slots. In addition, make sure to take advantage of the free drinks while gaming!!! The nice part is if I want to relax, I just go up on the top deck and enjoy the sunny day at sea. To me, it is similar to experiencing a sea day while on a cruise ship. Speaking of Cruise ships....the Victory also has its very own talented Cruise Director onboard named Steve Zimmerman. Many long time cruisers will recognize him from other cruise line voyages where he performed. All in all...just a great way so spend a day whether you are local or from out of town visiting!

The Victory Casino Cruise ship out of Port Canaveral Florida is a great one day getaway. For a small boarding fee, you can enjoy slot machines, table games, buffets, and live music. Join the players club and in time you can get all of the above for FREE. (Drinks are always FREE for the players. Just take care of the servers). To ensure our passage Jerry has always taken care of the arrangements to perfection. Compliments to the crew. Try it, you’ll like it! We live in Florida year-round and go as much as possible. Thanks for the fun! Pete and Debbie

Not worth it. You have more fun in a small regular casino inside an actual cruise than this rusty outdated so called "cruise." No live music, no entertainment, slot machines are set up to leave you with no money by the end of the trip. No free drinks offered until the last hour all rushed but no waitress going around the entire night. The staff was not helpful at all, they were rude and bored themselves. Do not recommend as a birthday or to have fun unless you are a gambler whom entertainment you call spinning the slot machines all the time. Waste of money and time. The cafeteria felt like a nursing home or old hospital cafeteria, it was very disappointing.

On behalf of the management of Victory Casino, I would like to apologize for your disappointment. We are a casino and people come on board to gamble. Our guests make their own fun by coming on board to play. If you don’t gamble, this cruise probably isn’t for you. Our $13 boarding fee is a deal for many. If you came on our Birthday Bash cruise, entry was free for anyone with a May birthday. We apologize that you didn’t get the drink service you deserved. We don’t wait until the last hour to offer free drinks, but, you do have to actively be gambling to get free drinks. Our machines are set by the manufacturer to pay at or above industry standard. Anyone who has ever worked in any casino can tell you that we would have no way to control the machines like you imply. One year ago, when we resumed sailing during COVID-19, we made changes to allow for social distancing. We don’t offer entertainment as we can’t have groups of people congregating in any area of the ship. If you should decide to visit us again and run into anything about our casino that you’re not satisfied with, we encourage you to speak to the manager on duty. There is a manager on duty every cruise to ensure all guests have the best possible experience. We trust that anyone reading your review and our response understands that they can read the other reviews to see how much fun people do have at our casino. Thank you.

I've been visiting Central Florida for much of my life and have been interested in visiting this casino boat for much of the past 10 years. While vacationing in the area over the past week, I had booked the new member offer which was very generous (included boarding, drinks, food, and free play for 2 ppl) for $50. While my first two reservations were canceled due to rough seas, the management was very courteous in informing me about this early in the morning before I left. Luckily, I was able to sail on a morning trip late last week and was very pleased with the experience. Parking is complementary and is located right next to the ship. The staff were also all very friendly, and boarding was very easy. The ship is in excellent condition and the casino is set up in a way that you would hardly know you are even on a ship. As a table games player, I was very happy with the blackjack/craps and the rules offered. Having complimentary drinks while playing was also very nice and a welcomed change from some of the card rooms in the rest of the state, My only regret was not having more time to play as the casino closes about 30 min before arriving back in port. Had I had more time, I would have been happy to have sailed on the PM trip as well. I am glad I was able to go though and look forward to taking another voyage the next time I return to Florida.

Had a really good time on our first ever casino cruise. Gambled with what I saved up fully expecting to lose it all so it has no bearing on why I gave this attraction only 4 stars.

The Good:

Nice size ship. Lots of room. Good food reasonably priced. Complimentary soft drinks, tea and coffee. Very friendly staff (quite a change from staff in Atlantic City who treat you like you are an annoyance). Free parking (which was great as I was fully expecting to pay $17)

The Needs Improvement:

Bingo - This should be called "Pay $20+ to be rushed through being told you didn't win". If you're used to bingo where numbers are called and you dab them on your cards, forget it. This isn't that. You're given an electronic device with digital cards on it and the numbers are called off rapid fire while the device marks them off for you. This takes all the fun and anticipation of winning out of it. We literally completed 6 games including a coverall in 20 minutes. Not fun. My suggestion would be fewer games higher payouts with a slower pace. Maybe you'd get more people to play.

Slot Machines - Maybe I'm just a noob but the slot machines are too complex to play. What happened to the price per pull on the machine and you decide how many coins to play on each pull? There are too many different winning combos and too many ways to lose money quickly. Too quickly to consider it fun.

I'd recommend this experience as it is a lot of fun but I'll stick to table games next time.

So the Skipper and Gilligan planned a three hour tour that turned into a three TV season ordeal. The Victory Casino seems like that too. Five hour ordeal that was two hours too long.

Things that sucked:

Assigned a 10:30 am buffet reservation; we ate breakfast only 90 min earlier.
Few places to sit on the upper deck. About 50 outside chairs for 200+ passengers.
Drinks served in plastic cups.
Buffet food was slop. Should have gone a al carte as that food looked better.
Trying to redeem the $10 in free slot play required 3 of 4 trips to guest services
Unless you're sitting at a slot machine there are way too few places to sit on the ship.
So much 2nd hand smoke!
Disorderly disembarking process.

Things that didn't suck:

Departed on time (though we returned late)
Weather was nice.
Weather was nice

Dear Stremma, Thank you for sailing with us and for taking the time to post a review. We were disappointed to see you had so many issues during your short time with us, and I would like to address some of your concerns. Our ship sails twice a day, and our sailing times are posted on our website. We’re sorry to read that you felt this was too long, as most of our guests enjoy the amount of time we are out. We also regret that you found your dining time to be too early. The times are assigned in the order that guests arrive. We ask that if you are not happy with the time you receive, to speak with our dining room host, and if it is possible, we will be glad to give you a later time. Unfortunately, if you sailed with us on a busier day, we may not have been able to accommodate your request as we do need to serve all of our guests in a very limited time. We do use plastic cups as opposed to glass; we are a ship that is in motion, and drinks do get spilled or dropped, so we use plastic to protect our guests. We have shared your comments regarding the seating with our Captain, and we are happy to report we are in the process of adding more seating to our outside deck. Decks 1 and 4 are entirely non-smoking. We do allow smoking on Decks 2 and 3; however, you will notice state of the art filtration systems onboard the ship to help with the effects of smoking. We also have non-smoking cruises during the month. Check our website or Facebook page for details. To make your disembarkation much more enjoyable, we do recommend that you take the opportunity to enjoy our entertainment on Deck 4, you can check out our calendar of events on our website and Facebook page. Our entertainment does perform for the last hour and it will end your next trip on the right foot! We do have a Manager on Duty on every cruise who would have welcomed the opportunity to address these issues while you were here as we never want our guests to leave with a negative impression of us. We hope you will give us another opportunity to make your next trip great! The Victory Casino Cruises Management Team
