My husband and I had our first Segway tour today, and we loved it. Our guide, Jenn, was very informative and was able to have all four in our group very confident of the handling of the Segway before we ventured out. We have a great tour all around Port Canaveral, the marina and the Ron Jon Resort.

Great job, Jenn. We had a great time!

There was a mix up on our reserved time-no problem! Diana rescheduled us and we has a tour for two. She was always smiling, informative and did an A-one job. Port Canaveral, the cruise ships, the cove, the locks all in one trip! What a great way to see and learn about a new area. Cape Caribe Resort,Ron Jon's is a great place to start and visit as well. We appreciated the customer service and attention. Recommend for anyone who has the time and and interest-Can't think of a soul who would not enjoy a segway !

Got this on a Groupon. Glad we did. $65 for the 75 min. tour is pretty steep. Had a nice trip around Port Canaveral. Once you get used to it 12.5 mph doesn't seem so fast. Nice to see the cruise ships and the port, the cookies at the bakery were a nice touch, and actually we never knew the bakery was there, so we will have to go back and check it out some more. The boardwalk was narrow and hard to maneuver around pedestrians. But it was a fun challenge. Our tour guide (Julie???) was terrific. She was constantly making sure that we were all together and safe. She spent most of her ride looking back at us, and she was very chatty and friendly.Overall, I would try this again, but not at full price.

Unfortunately I was never able to partake due to their shady business practices. I had to call with some issues surrounding a deal purchased on the web and although the wife seemed to want to try and do something ( as long as i tipped) all i could hear was the husband yammering in the background to take it or leave it. If i was a person that was cautious to spend my money with only a reputable business that really cared about their customers i would look for another tour company.

We arrived for a 9 a.m start at the Hilton, our guide was friendly and we quickly got used to the machine and were off (There were 4 of us).

We set off down the sidewalk, round the back of a hotel where we stopped to adjust the speed. Then it was straight down the sidewalk to the pier on the beach.

This is the bit that I don't get, we stopped, parked the machines and were then told we could 'look' at the beach and pier if we wanted. (we didn't want to) We were told they normally stop there for about fifteen minutes. (we asked to leave after standing around for about 10 minutes) We did not take a segway tour to stop and look at a beach that we were going to spend the rest of the day on.

We were then taken to Ron Jon's and told we could take a look around if we wanted to. We did go in, but not because we wanted to but because we did not get any other option. Yet again this is something we can do at any time of day and we are not interested in anything to do with surfing. Our guide appeared to like surfing a lot as it was all he talked about, It would have been nice to have been asked if we were interested.

Our guide then told us we could drive the segways around the pavement in front of the store. Great, except there were customers going in and out and it wasn't too safe. Our guide was a nice person and friendly, but did not take into account anything we may have wanted to do.

In all we probably used the segways for about 30-40 minutes (if that). It would have been better to be on them riding around for a lot longer rather than standing around at the pier an shop.

If the segways go off road we would try it and we did enjoy the time we had on them, it just wasn't enough for the price paid. We paid to go on a SEGWAY tour not a stand at a shop and look at the beach tour.

What an unprofessional little snot. A week ago I booked a tour for a couple freinds, my wife and myself for today. We drove up to the Cape and were filling out our disclaimer forms when another group came in. Turns out the owner (offsite) who does the scheduling fouled up our reservations and said he could find them nowhere. In fact he stated he could find no record of ever speaking with me. I checked my phone and sure enough there were the phone calls to them. Not even an I'm sorry. He said he never makes mistakes in scheduling these tours and told me to call Groupon for a refund. Wow! I guess his business is good.

If you do elect to purchace from space coast segway, I strongly recommend getting a written confirmation. I guess his memory is failing. They are fun little contraptions. Too bad he was so unprofessional.

Took a tour while in Fl on business. Other than riding a segway, there wasn't much to see on this tour. Our tour guide (later found out was an owner) seemed more interested in his girlfriend? who seemed to be hanging around.. Not very professional, Would not reccomend this attraction.

My family was very excited about doing this tour. However, I first had a tough time even booking a tour. I called on the weekend, left message, didn't hear back, called again a few times - the message about when they were open changed 3 times. Finally got through on the Wed, booked last available tour on Thurs - 5pm. Was there at 445 as told to be, no one there, left messages on company phone, and then got phone call from guide at 505 saying electrical difficulties and all the segway batteries were dead. Then got call from owner who didn't know that tour was delayed. I had to tell him. then went back and forth with guide and owner. Was told that the tour was guaranteed to be on at 6pm so we waited (as we had driven an hour to get there). I said we needed to know that they were sure it would be on as we were now going to be leaving over an hour later than when planned and if there was a chance it wouldn't happen, we would like to leave now. Reassured repeatedly that it would be a go. Then at 610 owner called to say they were cancelling the tour because the batteries weren't charged enough. At this point, we expressed our disappointment and started back to Orlando. Then, while on highway, the guide called asking where we were. I told him the owner just called to cancel, he said he didn't know about that. I told him we were not turning the car around. I would recommend that people have other plans as back up when booking this tour in case there are challenges so that you have other activities that your family can do instead. The people seemed very nice and were apologetic but it was very disappointing for us.

We did not end up going because when I called to reserve a time and get information, the lady told me they did not do groups of more than 4. Well, we had 5. We were not going to split up our activities. She said there were segways at the end where we could all stand & take pictures together. No thank you. They should state this information in the advertisements.

We have been on 2 great Segway tours prior to this (San Antonio, Texas, and Old San Juan, Puerto Rico) so we had some good expectations. This tour was not in the same league. There was little to no commentary at all, including about the history of Cocoa Beach and its attractions. Who was Lori Wilson? Anything about the Cocoa Beach Pier? Why is the area called the Space Coast? What is the big deal about Ron Jon? If I wasn't a Florida local, I would have no clue. This felt like we rented a Segway and was just riding it around. I would provide the name of our tour guide but he never said it or asked ours. We purchased this tour through Groupon at a discount - I guess you get what you pay for.

We apologize for the lack of commentary and the fact that our tour guide did not introduce himself, and from the sounds was not very hospitable at all. I do, however, know which tour guide led your tour and have since made clear to that segway operator that being friendly and a modest amount of commentary about the Cocoa Beach Pier and the Ron Jon Surf shop is a necessary part of the job description. It is also a very common fact between our guides that many locals actually prefer less commentary (and even sometimes request so) because many of such guests buy our tours just to have the opportunity to ride a $6,500 piece of machinery. We try to cater to each of our groups individually and the tour guide may have interpreted your knowledge of cocoa beach in the wrong way. Again, sorry for the lack of commentary and we will be sure that it won't happen again.
