The Bradenton Beach Marina offers a wide selection of boat rentals, jet ski rentals, and boat tours. Our boat tours include daily dolphin tours and sunset cruises on our custom built, 40 foot, fiberglass catamaran. An incredibly enjoyable ride and great views of our beautiful island and wildlife from anywhere on the tour boat. We had such a great tour to Egmont Key with our four year old and twin 17 year old daughters. Our captain James was incredible - he was so personable and very knowledgeable about the area and all the marine life. We saw dolphins, manatee, tarpon, sting rays, tortoises and so many birds. We opted for a 4 hour private tour and it was the perfect amount of time to enjoy the boat ride, snorkel, swim and take a short walk to the lighthouse. We really loved how enthusiastic James was about all the marine life and he knew so much about the animals it was such a joy to be with a guide who clearly loves what he does.

We had absolutely the best dolphin tour on our recent trip to Anna Maria Island. Over the years we've done several while traveling. This tour was by far the best! Captain James was just fantastic with his knowledge of the area and habits of the dolphins that live here. Lots of sightings! Perfect weather! Hospitable guide! A perfect afternoon! Thanks Captain James and Bradenton Beach Marina Dolphin Tours!

We've done several of these sunset dolphin tours in various locations over the years. This was the best one for siting dolphins (and a manatee). Great captain and host, gave lots of good info w/o talking too much. Good music playing. Beautiful area. Easy to book, check-in. Only downside is the old "taxes and fees," which exceeded the 10% we saved with a local coupon. And keep in mind that "tips are appreciated," so not a cheap excursion for our party of 11!

Website totally misleading. Booked a reservation for 3 and an hour later received a call that there is a minimum of 4. I had family visiting and excited for the Dolphin Cruise and had to pay out of pocket for a fourth person who didn't attend, as didn't want to disappoint family. The office manager was of no assistance and willing to work with me when they were in the wrong without clearly stating a minimum of 4 people required to charter a boat.

We booked the dolphin tour taking along our 4 year old. What a great family experience and such a learning experience! Our guide was so knowledgeable about the island and really took the time to not just tell us what things were, he went in depth to share the animal species and history. He was so patient to answer all our 4 year olds’ question and the two hours flew by. He even let him pretend he was driving. We can’t wait to go back again! Great time!

We booked a comedy cruise a week in advance on a Friday. Only to receive a dissapointing phone call. Less than two hours before our boarding time. Apparently there were only 20 bookings that night. I wish we had been notified earlier so we could have made other plans. I'm sure this is a great company as we heard positive comments from locals.

My family of 6 spent Fourth of July week on Anna Maria Island. We booked two excursions with Bradenton Beach Marina. Our first experience was a 2 hour Release and Catch Family Fishing excursion. We had 10 people in our party and only 4 fishing poles on the boat. The captain spent more time answering his phone to schedule future bookings then assisting us with our bait and lines. We paid over $600 for two hours and feel completely ripped off. Our second excursion was a jet ski rental. Our tour guide was extremely rude and yelled at me multiple times for not going fast enough. We had called the marina prior to booking and I was assured that the guide would adjust to my experience level. He did not and overall was just completely annoyed to be out on the water with us. I am so disappointed in my experience with this marina and will not be using them again for any water excursions/experiences.

I’m sorry you had a bad experience. However, to be clear, the trip you booked with with Island Pear Excursions, not Bradenton Beach Marina. Island Pearl Excursions is a tenant who rents space at Bradenton Beach Marina, it is not the marina. Again, I’m sorry you had a bad experience with Island Pearl Excursions, I will speak to the owner of that company about your experience.

Rented 2 pontoons for a large group. One of the boats was given to us with very little gas and it ran out. Called to the marina to report and it took over an hour for them to arrive. Our other boat stayed with us because we were a large group, so basically our whole parties trip was ruined. When the gentleman came to bring us gas he reported they had gas issues with the boat the day before also and that running out was the companies fault. Absolutely ruined our last day of vacation. The guy in the office was very rude and said our second boat should have kept going without us. Horrible customer service as we should have been give. A full refund on the boat that broke down. Do not use this company.

They wanted to charge $450 for a boat that was all open and totally unsafe for kids, we had 4 little ones and NO WAY we were going to put them on that boat! We were told “if you don’t like the boat get the F*** out” by one of the employees. They were very rude and incompetent! We just left to go to another marina with a much better service and a great boat for only $50 more. We did not get a full refund even though we should’ve! Stay away people

I'm sorry that you were not happy with the boat that you reserved for a boat rental. All of our boats are safety inspected, and customer safety is our top priority. I apologize for any inconvenience.

We did a sunset tour for a group of 11. They do not allow you to bring your own drinks....Must purchase from them, which is fine IF they had enough drinks for everyone! Cooler was 90% empty. Then one of the motors stopped working and we could not get around the Island to even see the sunset! They did not offer for any type of refund whatsoever. Offering a partial refund would be the right thing to do 🤷♂️🤦🏻♂️.

I’m sorry you were disappointed on the sunset cruise. We do sell drinks on board our tour boat and if we ran out, that is not acceptable and I apologize. Thank you for letting me know, I will look into this.
