Last Tuesday my husband and I head an amazing early 9 am morning to hang out with DeAnna and Captain Phil and we saw many playful dolphins and a manatee! DeAnna's ability to interact with these beautiful animals was great, and of course Captain Phil was maneuvering that boat marvelously! We had so much fun and learned a lot about history, local fun places (one of the recommended restaurants we visited that night and had a great meal, drinks and very good blouse band there).
DeAnna's knowledge about Manatee's see creatures was very impressive.
So we are bringing our friends next time to enjoy.

It was a great day to see dolphins, and we saw several! One group even followed us and played in our wake as we left the area. She jumped out of the wake and did a flip right off the starboard side. Great adventure lead by a great staff. The captain and first mate were also very entertaining and knowledgeable about dolphins and the area’s history.

I am a local person whom always takes visitors on boat tours for dolphins, sunset, etc. I decided to give Paradise Boat Tours a try as it saved a party of 2 adults, 2 seniors and a child $40.00 on overall ticket price. Now the real bonus comes in with a highly competent guide with great local knowledge and a good captain. We saw lots of dolphins and pods of them. It was a great trip even my 96 year old mother got excited over this outing! Thanks Paradise!

3 PM Dolphin Tour was great! Experienced and knowledgeable crew, comfortable boat. We saw plenty of dolphins and enjoyed the tour of Sarasota Bay. We brought our own refreshments on the boat. $30 per person for a 90 minute tour seemed to us a good value.
Be sure to arrive early, because parking is very challenging!

Went on the 1.5 hour dolphin tour while vacationing a week on Anna Maria Island with relatives. Capt Justin and first mate Kristina were excellent in telling all about Dolphin and Manatee behaviors and how Dolphins care for their young. They made it informative and interesting. I thought the value was excellent. Saw many dolphins and learned about island history and even got tips on best places to eat seafood. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone. Our group had ages from 5 to 70 and all seemed to have a good time. We went in late afternoon and the cooling breezes and beautiful sunset made it all the more pleasurable.

I cannot say enough good things about the guides on this tour. We had a little bit of a chilly day but it was great. Our guides were friendly, enthusiastic and so knowledgeable. We saw dolphins multiple times and watched one catch a fish which was exciting. We had 2 boys ages 5 & 8 and they loved it. I would highly recommend this tour.

This was the most awesome boat tour we've ever been on. It was the very best part of our vacation. Deanna was an expert on everything we saw, particularly the dolphins and manatees, and she's a very fun person. She has a way to get the dolphins to jump out of the water by clapping her hands and calling to them, they recognize her voice. So very cool. The captain was also very informative and friendly. We learned so much and had such a good time. It was a beautiful trip.

This was my 3 little girls first boat ride & they're ages 3, 7, and 9 and we all LOVED it ! The girls were treated like princesses the whole time by the captain and our fellow passengers. We saw dolphins and caught the most stunning sunset views. The captains were awesome and very knowledgeable. I absolutely recommend cruising with Paradise Boat Tours

My family just took a tour with Captain Justin and First Mate Deanna. We spent most of our tour on the front observation deck with Deanna. She was extremely friendly and informative, having entire conversations with my six year old son about the wildlife in the area. We briefly saw a manatee and then saw a whole pod of dolphins with a lot of great photo ops. I am so glad we took this tour, it was a great experience! One thing to note, for those trying to decide where to go for their dolphin tour- many places have a minimum passenger rule and may cancel your tour if they don't get enough people booked. Paradise Boat Tours doesn't have a minimum! Put this tour on your vacation must do list!

My family and I are visiting AMI for the first time. So glad we decided to take a trip with Captain Dan and First Mate Deanna. They were so friendly and knowledgeable. Booking online before, I was able to choose a time that had a small number of people on the boat for social distancing purposes. The boat was clean ans spacious. We saw and followed several dolphins and even got to catch and hold a sea urchin. Well worth the money and time!!!

Can You organize a private tours? Like a half day sealing and snorkeling around the island?

There are no seals in the Gulf of Mexico off the shores of Florida and Anna Maria Island. Paradise Tours offers several different tours, I would check their website.

Would anyone know which would be better- the 5pm or sunset tour? Would like to do the sunset tour but wonder how much daylight would be left to really see the dolphins. Any recommendations?

That’s a great question and we get it a lot. You are absolutely correct that while we see dolphin on absolutely every tour, the Sunset Tours by virtue of having a little less light makes those encounters a little less amazing. So as we always say if dolphin are your priority then we would recommend a daytime tour.

No this is a dolphin watching cruise where they are in their natural habitat. You are pretty much guaranteed that you will see dolphins as well as ma manatees. This tour is very informative!
