This is a beautiful pier with it's clock tower . I love the Trex decking materials on this boardwalk. No splinters or warping so this will last for a long time. The views are awesome and all the different kinds of birds you get to see up close makes for a great picture. Those pelicans aren't afraid of anything, they seem very at home on the railing. I love swinging on the swing and taking in the views.

We enjoyed or time here. We had a nice walk on the pier looking at the water and the boats. We like the cupola on the pier. We went to the shops and met and chatted with nice people. Parking can be tricky, we got lucky and found a parking spot, although we did go off season. Even off season there were several families and couples walking around.

We walked to the pier and ate at the Anna Maria Oyster Bar. It was so good we went back two more times. We saw snook, sea bass, trout, dolphins and lots of bait fish. Chatted with local people fishing. Nice little area on the southern part of the island. Close to some bars, shops and delicious restaurants. Our favorite was Bamboo Island. It’s upstairs and has an awesome selection of foods. Lots of night life and live music at night.

Beautiful views of the Intracoastal Waterway. Nice walkway with benches. Friendly pelican, Pete, was an added bonus. The pier is home to a wonderful restaurant, Anna Maria Oyster Bar. Paradise Boat Tours is located at this pier as well, which was amazing. Several restaurants and shops nearby. Parking can be challenging though. Needless to say, we had a lovely day here. A definite must do. Will be back!!!

Nice long pier with great views of the sound. Nice way to see the backside of the island. Water around the pier is so clear. You can see lots of fish and marine life. If you’re staying in the area, definitely walk through and see this.

Historically, Bridge Street Pier goes back to the old times when Bradenton Beach used to be Cortez Village.
Nowadays, it is a drawbridge, it opened in 1967, and it is a very attractive site to visit, not only for fishing from the pier, but for enjoying the whole scenery that is so beautiful at any time of the day. Scenic views are lovely! The whole place speaks history, but has modern feel about it, as well.
In the morning, the white-colored pier and the blue sky looked just wonderful.

Located at the very end of Bridge Street located in the town of Bradenton Beach on Anna Maria Island is the Bridget Street Pier. The town is called Bridge Street because it used to be the only bridge that got you onto Anna Maria Island. After shopping at the quaint little shops on Bridge street and getting your coffee at Back Alley Treasures, you can go and take some photo ops at the pier. All the house boats are lined up on the water which makes for a perfect picture. There are also boat tours that leave from the bridge street pier. There is even a restaurant too.

The pier is absolutely beautiful and is a must see on your trip. Make sure you stop in to see the ladies running the little shop called “A Room with a Hue.” They have beautiful creations and gifts to take home with you. I bought a picture frame and one of them painted a saying in it for me. I was very impressed with her work. I had let her know I’d be adding seashells to it so she made sure to leave me room to do so. I also recommend Bradenton Beach Parasailing which is located there.

Bay side Has a restaurant bar and plenty of free seating with benches and a swing. Fun to watch boaters and fisherman. Worth a quick stop if your looking to add some steps away from the beach.

No, easy access . Check out Pier at Rod N Reel that’s very nice too . No rails though so scary with children .

Not sure. I am a snowbird from Canada so not sure about the shop hours. I am quite sure the Pier is accessible though.

Is the day dock still there? I had heard is was removed and was supposed to be being replaced but the new one hasn't been installed yet?
Thanks.
