This rating would have been higher if the guide had any respect for her audience. The guide kept us waiting on the bus on a few occasions while she socialized with other people not on the tour. In addition, at the end of the tour we had to drive out of our way to drop the guide off at her car. In addition, we had to sit waiting at a stop sign because she forgot to take the magnetic sign off the side of the bus called and told the driver to wait for her. Those of us on the bus suggested he drop us off, the paying customers, first, then deal with the sign later. It was incredibly poor customer service to keep all of us waiting yet again, for a mistake she made. There was no explanation, the driver just stopped at a stop sign and wouldn't move. We had to ask what the problem was. I would not recommend this service if you don't like wasting your time. Also, the tour didn't need to last as long as it did, it could have been condensed if the guide didn't have to be dropped off at her car at her convenience. Coming from the north and going from Boynton to Del Ray back to Boynton was poor planning. Always start a tour at the furthest area and work your way back. It appeared as though she planned it that way to be convenient for her so she could be dropped off at her car after the tour. It was rude the way she treated us. I do not recommend this service.

This is a 3-4 hour guided tour by comfortable (small) bus and some walking... there is no restroom on the bus, but at every eatery we could use the one there. We stopped at 5 eateries that reflected local culture and history, and ate delicious plentiful portions. The owners came to talk to us. The itinerary is not the same all the time, so you can go more than once to see more. I have lived in the area for a long time, and even I learned a lot about my home town. Our guide Lori was wonderful.. informative and friendly and upbeat.

What a great way to spend the day - sampling this and that (from “never had that before” to scrumptious to absolutely sinful!), strolling outside viewing beautiful artwork, meeting new people and hearing their stories… and we couldn’t have had a better guide. Lori’s passion for history shines through - we learned quite a bit about the history of Boynton Beach and Delray. Will definitely take the tour again!

Went on a wonderful culinary and history tour with Lori yesterday and couldn't be more impressed! From the delicious, locally-owned restaurants, to the incredible knowledge shared, to the huge portions, and to the very comfortable bus, this is something no one wanting to learn more about South Florida should miss. As someone who has taken food tours around the world, I can easily say that this was one of the best. Thank you for offering these tours; can't wait to try your others!
