To me it's the best nature center in the area. The "boardwalks" make it easy to have a good view on many of the many birds and other animals making the park their home.

Its exactly what you'd expect. Lovely peaceful and beautiful. The walking trails and people along the way are a welcomed day of peaceful distraction.

Perfect for bird watching and photography. Try to go when birds are in "residence". Be certain to use sunscreen.

Make sure you go when Marty or Bonny are onsite as your Docent. They will give you a magical experience. Walking above a swamp, you'll see alligators, turtles, fantastic birds and foliage. You won't want to leave.

My boyfriend took me here for one of our first outings. The path is about 1.2 miles. There are birds, crocadiles & other wildlife. It's very beautiful. Bathroom facilities at the main building. Very nice & safe.
