We visited the highly reviewed Dog Park in Bonita Springs in late July with our dog and we’re looking forward to a fun afternoon. We drove from our hotel in Bonita Springs and parked in the Sandy parking lot area. There were no signs identifying...More

I visited here in the summer. It was fairly crowded, but contrary to some other reviews, I found the owners responsible and nice. Beach was clean, and poop was not evident. Boats moor off shore and there is a sandbar to sit on with your...More

Nice stretch of beach. Especially interesting during high tide as the walk from the parking area to the beach is flooded (clear, clean, ankle deep water with a few fish) make it especially interesting for kids of all ages and large dogs. Small dogs may...More

It should have been my dog’s first time at the beach. After a thorough research, we travelled several hours to the beach. Just the entrance was a ordeal. A tiny path, flooded and with no way to make it to the beach with the beach...More

What a nice place to just let your dog off the leash and run free in and out of the water. Good exercise running on the beach and in the water. You can see all the smiles on the faces of the dogs romping and...More

Good place to bring your pups to play and cool down in water. It's a bit of a walk in murky and muddy puddles, but the dogs don't seem to mind. There is an area to hose them off before you leave, too.

There aren’t many places is southwest Florida where your dog or dogs can enjoy the beach with their master. Most everyone cleans up after their dogs. Dogs can run and play for hours. Bring fresh water for your dogs.

Close to Bonita Springs and our hotel (La Quinta), we took our daughter's schnauzer to an adventure. A short walk through the high tide around to the beach and then voila! dogs are free and jumping and swimming in the nice 1-2 feet shallow gulf...More

The dog beach is secluded from a regular beach which is nice. When we went the dog beach was not over crowded and the water was crystal clear and calm.
