While staying in Bonita Springs, my husband & I heard of this place. Altho we did not have our dogs with us, we stopped by. The water remains shallow very far out so the dogs have tons of room to run thru the water & play. We waded around for about an hour just watching & occasionally getting zoomed by... More

We saw this beach from boat at sunset. Went back next afternoon, high tide, no beach, it is all under water. I give it stars for availability, dog washing station, free parking, porta john. But check the tides before you go.

We have brought our dogs here twice. Both times were enjoyable but busy, not a relaxing beach experience for owners but the dogs have fun. Great stretch of beach to let dogs run through sand and shallow water. There are two things we did not care for 1) having smaller dogs ourselves we were concerned about larger dogs that were... My dog and I were anxious to discover this place - well what a disappointment - My dog certainly had a good time and went playing in the water with other dogs - but the access to the beach from the main road was dirty full of poopoos although there are plenty of signs asking people to pick up after... Not the best place for a small dog. Lots of big dogs that run uncontrolled, but that is what a dog beach should be. Most are pretty well trained and did not see any dog fights. Will take my little dog to bonita springs dog park.

Come by boat or come by car, your dog will not be disappointed if he/she is a social dog. There are dogs galore for a playmate for every dog, or if you just want to toss a ball in the water, A couple of things to know about the beach. There is not much beachfront, so check the tides if... More

We weren't sure what to expect, but what a treat! Shallow water with no waves, dogs loved it! There were about 20-30 dogs there at any given time. Would recommend checking the tides on-line and going at low tide, as during high tide, the water comes up the entrance canal, making it harder for smaller dogs to enter/exit (also hard... More

Always take a boat ride by it. It brings a smile to see all the dogs at play. Wish I had a dog but don't want the responsibility. Maybe I can rent one

I am not a dog person, per se. I have visited this beach 3 times with my friend and her dog and I LOVED it! It is stunning and so fun!
